If this is your style of music. Please, have a listen and turn it up! This is some head banging, super-drive, heavy rock. There are songs that are course and brutal, as you'd expect. Yet, also where the theme is diverse, with varied, melodic tones. Vocals put heavy influence into the emotional aspects of a song in such a way that Corey Taylor is so good at. Just elevates some of the songs to a new level! Great stuff.

A perfectly arranged and packaged gift for the rock/metal senses. Blasted it all day on this holy Sunday. Passed all tests with flying colours. I sang my heart out, I banged my head, pumped my fists, and even had a "shakin that ass" moment or two. Should be a hit with the ladies. 😆👍

This album is great. Its Stone Sour. I would not say it is a progression from HOGAB. I feel this was a somewhat experimental album for them. Honestly, I probably would have gave this album 5 stars if Song #3, Rose Red, Thank God It's Over, and Mercy were not on the album. These tracks just feel out of place as a whole for the album. Otherwise a fantastic album.

I'm a huge fan of Corey Taylor and Stone Sour. I think the album is very good and would recommend it to anyone. People need to stop complaining that Jim Root left. Things do change, get over it and enjoy their music!

So far from the few songs I've heard I'm not loving it. I Loved the house of gold & bones but something is off with this new stuff. Sounds too radio maybe? I want better then this so I'm hopeful there's something here that i'll like.

This such a great album. Stone sour always provides great music. One issue I do have is with one of the songs. The Witness Trees, it might be corrupted or a bad download on my device as the song skips to the middle of it at 0:12 seconds into it. Might just be on my end but the album is freaking great.

Song 3 is excellent.. fabuless is everything what Stone Sour is! Stop complaining about Jim Root not in the band anymore. His choice. Stone Sour is better off without him in the band.

Very good album with great songs. Corey MF Taylor is most definitely a mad genius. I've grown up listening to him singing his heart out and Slipknot and then Stone Sour came along and it was like a breath of fresh air as I too was getting older.

This is just an okay album. Losing Jim Root shows in lack of creativity. Generic guitar solos too.

Cory's lyrics and vocals are top notch on this album. My biggest reason for 3 stars is I feel this album doesn't match up to their previous work musically. For such a talented group the riffs and grooves feel a little juvenile and lack the refinement of prior albums.

Honestly I think That this is the worst album I have ever heard by them yet and they really need to improve or atleast go back to their roots they need to seriously work on All of their stuff and literally fix everything not impressed at all with this band anymore

I'm giving this godly album 5 stars. This album has been touched by the graces of the rock gods itself. Godly instruments with absolutely smashing guitar solos and vocals from corey taylor that could smash the windows off every house in a 10 mile radius. 10/10 would rate again blessed by the nectar of the rock gods is this album

I've only listened to the last too albums in their entirety, and I love the House of Gold and Bones part 2 especially. I've listened to a few singles outside of that, but some felt either too pop rock-y or too sentimental. Not to say either of that is bad, but some songs, like bother, were a bit too much for my tastes. This album, while not as great or thematic as the last two, was genuinely entertaining. It sounds a tiny bit more poppy than usually, but the overall sound is still rock, and still hardcore enough for me to enjoy. There are slower songs like St. Marie, but it's not too sappy, and offers a surprising country twist for the album. One stand out song is Whiplash Pants. It sounds vaguely like Crush 40, and the ending features some of Corey Taylor's most aggressive vocals since Slipknot's Iowa. I think it's great that he can muster so much raw passion despite how long he's been fronting Slipknot and Stone Sour. Some of the less than steller songs on the album is Song 3 and Roses Red. Song 3 is somewhat catchy, but mindnumbingly cliche, and Rose Red is boring as hell. Check them out, but they aren't my cup of tea.

I love Stone Sour Cory Tylor is absolutely amazing & awesome!!!!! There is absolutely nothing that I've heard him do that I didn't love!! As my husband Say's well there gose my baby she's in the Cory zone......lol

Corey Taylor is the most versatile singer in the game. Kills everything from growls to screams to quench your fists and sing to the stars ballads, it's amazing!

I would listen to anything CT sings. I've been a SS fan since Inhale. It's not Slipknot so don't expect that. I like most of the songs but I'm obsessed with #3, Hydrograd, Somebody Stole My Eyes (reminds me of Pantera), and Rose Red Violent Blue. Worth the cost, sorry Nickelback 🤣🤣🤣😙🤘🤘

Another great album by Stone Sour! I've been a fan since the first album and typically like each consecutive album more than the previous one. While I can't say for sure yet that hydrograd is better than house of gold and bones 2 having only listened to hydrograd twice, but I love it! A few slower songs and some that really f-ing rip like whiplash pants and someone stole my eyes! Can't beat Corey's originality and style-not afraid to try different things and blows 99 percent of other artists out of the water in my opinion! ....."wipe that face off your god damn face" lmfao priceless!
