Review from Chad Collier
Hill top never dissapoints Loved these guys since I first heard them I wish they would come back to Alberta
Back in form Was not a fan of drinking from the sun but this finds the hoods back in top form. Far more circumspect, mature and serious than left foot or the hard road, which makes sense given their life stages and recent history, but still some great lines. Cosby sweater the stand out for me. Great album.
Hilltop Hoods Google Play I have a BIG problem I pre purchased the new Hilltop Hoods album through the Music Store and when I went to upload the songs once the album was available and now its saying that I have to buy the album again even tho it was charged from my account when i pre purchased it so can you make it available for me seen as ive already purchased it very disappointed with this
Awesome - Classic Hilltop Hoods A bit more grown up than previous albums but this still displays their cheeky juvenile humour entwined amongst the more serious tracks. Buy the entire album. Every track is great.
Where the hell did this come from? I knew the album was coming out but did not expect it to be this awesome. Never should have expected anything less from the hoods.
Back once again! (just a matter of time) The Hoods are back and killin it with another classic. Wasn't too keen on Drinking From The Sun but Walking Under Stars sees them back to their very best. Highlights include Cosby Sweater, The Art of the Handshake, Through The Dark and Rumble, Young Man Rumble, in truth there isn't a bad track on it. Clever and often humorous lyrics spoken with an honesty you can relate to. I thought we'd seen the best of the Hoods, oh how wrong I was, brilliant, an absolute gem of an album, do yourself a favour and buy it.
Best hoods album yet I still love the beat-and-rhyme rap artists but it's nice to listen to something that is closer to hip hop than to rap. If you don't normal listen to hip hop, this might be somewhere to start.
