In this case 'imitation isn't the finest form of flattery'. If I want to listen to Led Zeppelin then I'll listen to Led Zeppelin. As a musician I don't know how these guys feel they have a shread of integrity. They're just repackaging the incredible work of legends and selling it as original work. This is musical plagarism. Have the courage to be yourselves little boys and stop stealing the work of a legendary band.

I can't stop listening to this album. My friend recommended greta to me and said they are the new led zep. I think they are. Loved the first 4 albums of led and you can deffenly tell theses guys are influenced alot by them, but not a rip off at all. Yeah some of the rifts and melodys sound like led but with a young modern day twist. Can't wait to see them a download this year. Can't wait to here more songs in the future. Deffenly check this band out. Black smoke rising, flower power and edge of darkness are my favourites. If you like zep you will like greta van fleet, very talented young men. Keep up the good work guys.

Ok. They are not ripping off led zep. They are young kids who sound just like em. Plant gave them kudos. The music world needs this so much right now. These kids kick ass. Buy this album and support real music or let the bubblegum live forever.

I can't give it 5 stars because half the songs are from their previous album. I was really looking forward to a complete album, but just using your previous album for half of the music seems very lazy. I probably should give it 3 stars for that reason but the music is good and I don't want to keep others from trying it.

Quality, at last I can stop work on my time machine back to the 70's! Yes they sound like Led Zepp, but in a totally good way. This is original material that's easily strong enough in its own right to not need a crutch of any sort. Hopefully people can get past any tribute act conclusions they may initially jump to, stay open-minded and hear this for what it is - pure class. I'm not bothered that half of this album is formed from the Black Smoke Rising EP either. Some of us bought that and will now buy this for an additional £5. Big deal. It's not worth docking this outstanding music a star for. Hopefully they'll tour the UK soon!

Can definitely hear the Zep influence, but they don't sound like a rip off. Excellent material. Even the cover of A Change Gonna Come is fresh

Yes they sound like Zep. Are they ripping them off? No. They are influenced by them.same as Rival Sons, but a much stronger case can be made that they are actually ripping them off. These kids are playing ROCK, at a time when most of the trash on the radio sounds like it doesn't even have an instrument in it. Those who want to rip on them because of some misguided musical snobbery can eat it. I'm personally overjoyed that we have some youth out there that wants to play and clearly enjoy this genre.

I haven't listened to a band that's roots are firmly planted in what I consider " classic, or real ROCK N ROLL" in years. Absolutely outta this world. And yes they have a Zepplin influence. But in the best way possible

Artists have been trying to bring back Zepplin's iconic sound for ages, and I think we've finally found it! We're looking very close to the next Robert Plant here! Greta Van Fleet are young, and they're bringing back the sound we've lost: they're gonna make it big!

Anybody blasting them while they completely credit Zeppelin as their main influence...is an idiot. They aren't a cover band. Young guys rocking old school and some people live on haterade and sour grapes.

Love these guys!! Im a 90s lad and have always wished that I was born just a little sooner so that I'd be around in the best era of music when bands like Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Pink Floyd were massive, maybe if more bands like GVF emerge I may not have to wish for this anymore!!

Listening at work, and one of the bosses swore up and down these unreleased Yard Birds tracks. I enjoyed it so much I have the CD too, so I can beat down the block.

Sounds like a modern spin on Led Zeppelin, but that I mean roots of rock, with blues an soul in it ,not some cookie cutter industry pop music label push, it's clean old school music, like Skynard ,or Stevie Ray Vaughan., looking forward to seeing them live, an there next album.

This album is excellent, extending on the work on their previously released EP in exciting fashion. Greta Van Fleet sound incredibly similar to Led Zeppelin in all aspects, up to and including Josh Kiszka's vocal work sounding the absolute spit of Robert Plant, who himself has recently positively regarded the band publicly. It's exciting for younger Zeppelin fans such as myself as while I'll never have the opportunity to see Led Zeppelin play for being born well after John Bonham's death and the band's break up, Greta Van Fleet gives me hope for being able to see a band that by all accounts appears to be a reincarnation of the bluesy hard rock gods of the 70's. That being said, I am not only enjoying Greta Van Fleet for the musical roots they have grown from. These boys have a lot of potential and a stellar first album is an amazing place to set themselves up from. 'Highway Tune' and 'Safari Song' are getting a lot of airplay in Australia right now, and their renditions of 'A Change is Gonna Come' and 'Meet on the Ledge' are excellent. They have grow space and talent to fill it, and I'll be looking forward to their next offering as I jam out to this one. Highly recommended.

Love this album, possibly the best new rn'r band out there. I would recommend of you love Zeppelin, Skynard, Creedence, or pretty much any other blues inspired rock band.

Very inspiring towards the life of rock. We hope more bands will arise in your inspiration for it is irrefutable that rock is near it's end. Keep it up Greta Van Fleet! We wait to hear more!

Real Rock and Roll right here. Heavy Zepplin influence but with their own spin on it. I can't get enough of this!

FIVE stars.... Impressed and inspired. Keeping rock ALIVE, I'ts just what America... The World needs. It just feels good to know that these kids have passion for good, solid, hard rock. Indeed, They remind us of another band for which we long for and loved. Their youth and influences resonate through out their artistry. Very well done indeed. It sure is a bobby dazzler alright.

STOP MENTIONING THAT THEY ARE COPYING LED ZEPPELIN. This is their EP. So they will show their inspiration a lot. Did you know that Rush was called a copy of Led Zeppelin. Rush ended up making their own sound. I bet Greta Van Fleet would do the same. Don't dismiss them so quickly.

Finally some music with teeth! It's been a long dark period for music. Let's hope this lights the fire for a new revolution in music. The last decade or more has been filled mostly with weak drivel that only a record label executive would approve of.

These kids rock, well and hard. At first listen the band sounds like Zepplin. However, give the short album a few go rounds. Those of us familiar with the full catalog of brilliance left by Led Zepplin can hear a distinct difference.

Ok to those who think their robbing led zepplin when robert plant not only defends the band but says their not stealing their sound then goes on to say how talented the guys are you are silenced these guys are truly talented and even elton john said these guys are going to be legends they are i love them and will support them on their journey <3

Love this album! There's nothing coming along these days that sounds this good and they have a good night and polished sound for a first record!

Im tired of all these people saying there ripping off led Zeppelin there is no copyright on sound there not stealing lyrics there not stealing titles they haven't even released a full album so how can you judge the whole band and personally I think there great because there making it in a market overflowing with wannabe rappers and pop artist with little talent at all
