Fresh, yet familiar. AND fun! This album marks the return of the master musician to doing what he does best. Take your time with these 12 tracks, let them grow on you. My favourites at the moment are the catchy 'Helpless', the thought-provoking 'In The Blood', and the poignant 'You're Gonna Live Forever In Me'. But I love the remaining ones too. This might be a break-up album, but the sound is upbeat and hopeful. Life's like that. Thank you, John Mayer.
Probably his best work since Continuum. Never ceases to impress with his willingness to bet the farm on his musical convictions. A vastly maligned individual, John Mayer the musician transcends the banality of his generation with his ability to create sensitive, sincere melodies with wonderful harmonies. I've been a fan for a while. This album strengthens that.bond
~ L♥VE ~ Every word in John's songs remind me of myself &/or descriptions of my "dreams" & this to me is a beautiful thing! I'm a person who suffers from helps me recognize that I am just like the rest of the world .. THANKS JOHN MAYER :)
One massive bowl of awesomeness! First day the album came out, I went up in the morning too get it and there were two copies left! Score! Thank you Mr. John for another amazing album of talent!
A man & his music can never go wrong. John opens up much of his inner self on this long awaited release. It hold's some from his past but more from his present. From what sounded like Jazz Fusion~Meet Blue Eye Soul on track 1 a few Slide Style Slow Blue's & a Simple Closeout of Track 12, John put his real heart & soul into this release. Rolling It Home, (can't wait to hear it live) Great Work John. ♥♪♪♪♪♪♥
His best since Continuum. Awesome throwback to Heavier Things with "Rosie" and a California Rock a la Eagles with "Roll it on Home". This album gets better with every listen. Once again, the rhythm section kills it thanks to Steve and Pino. That trio is unstoppable.
