XIII is the second major label release and fourth studio album overall by alternative metal band Mushroomhead, released on October 14, 2003. The album reached No. 40 on the Billboard 200 and sold 400,000 copies worldwide making it the band's most successful album to date. It was the band's last album with guitarist Bronson and singer J Mann before his return in 2013. It is also their first album with Gravy on guitars and Stitch on samples.
XIII includes the single "Sun Doesn't Rise." Its music video was directed by Vincent Marcone and features dark elements like a scarecrow and swarming crows. The video aired frequently on Headbangers Ball upon release. "Sun Doesn't Rise" song was also featured on the Freddy vs. Jason soundtrack.
