Ben Folds has said that he believes this is his best album, and I would have to agree with him. The collaboration between him and yMusic has given us a masterpiece of music that will definitely last for years to come. The music is wonderfully composed by the two parties, fully encapsulating the best of both groups. Ben takes the lead on his piano, as it is still technically a "Ben Folds" record, but everything feels like it is very in sync with each-other. The album includes a ton of stand-out hits such as "Capable of Anything" and "So There", which really emphasize what can be done with talented, chamber pop musicians. It also includes very introspective and beautiful tracks such as "Yes Man" and "I'm Not the Man", which really round out the album and give it a great overall feel. While I used to think Lonely Avenue was my favorite Ben Folds album, I'm starting to think this one might take it's place. Fantastic work all around, and a very cohesive album. Plus the concerto is an absolute gem, a wonder in the word of contemporary classical music. I give this album a 10+
Ben Folds Mastermind Ben Folds, yet another amazing Album that shows off not only Ben's amazing lyrical skills but his brilliant score writing. The later half is just all orchestra and it is absolutely wonderful. If you're ever remotely a Ben Folds fan. You'll love it. And if not, get it anyway.
Ben Fold rocks! Seen him live in concert in Charlotte, NC with the début of this album in November of 2015 and Ben Fold truly is an American Artist straight out of Winston Salem, NC. THIS is a great album!!
