"Amaia Montero" is the debut solo album by Spanish singer Amaia Montero, after an eleven-year music career as the frontwoman for La Oreja de Van Gogh. It was released in Spain on 18 November 2008 by Sony BMG. "Quiero Ser" was the first single released from the album. According to "Promusicae" Amaia Montero was the Ninth biggest selling album of 2008 in Spain, for surpassing sales of 81,000 in less than 2 months. The album was nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Album at the 2009 Latin Grammy Awards.
Amarte Bien (Deluxe edition)
Amarte Bien is a studio album recorded by Venezuelan singer-songwriter Carlos Baute. The album was released by Warner Music Spain on November 23, 2010. It was recorded in Mexico City and produced by Juan Carlos Noguel, Armando Ávila and Baute.
Carlos Baute commented that he wanted that "when people listen to my album, they feel happy. They're very fresh songs, that go directly through the heart." Website 7días stated that the singer, with Amarte Bien, "returns to his origins recovering that folklore rhythm from his land, which shot him to fame back in 1994." Mariano Prunes from Allmusic stated that "Amarte Bien is brimming with the light pop and positive messages characteristic of the artist."
The album contained the hit singles "Quién Te Quiere Como Yo", "Amarte Bien" and "Tu Cuerpo Bailando en Mi Cuerpo". "Quién Te Quiere Como Yo" reached No.26 on the Billboard Latin Songs chart and No.6 Latin Pop Songs chart, while the second, "Amarte Bien", also reached No.28 on that list. "Quien Te Quiere Como Yo" also reached No.2 on the Spanish Singles Chart, and "Amarte Bien" reached No.18 on that chart.
Amarte Bien became another commercial success for Carlos Baute.
La 5a Estación
Primera Toma is the first studio album release from the Spanish music trio, La 5ª Estación. It was released in 2002 in Mexico only. The album was initially not well received due to La 5ª Estación's lack of notoriety. However, the album managed to become a hit when the song, "¿Dónde Irán?", was used as the opening theme song for the telenovela, Clase 406. This promotion was their first breakthrough in Latin America and the United States. The song was then chosen as the debut single for the band and was also their first commercial hit in Mexico. After the release of their debut single, La 5ª Estación released two more successful singles from Primera Toma, which were "Perdición" and "No Quiero Perderte".
