The tracks feel so pop rap, but the lyrics are filled with so much substance. First album I listened to entire thing 10 times in a row in so long, and can't get enough... It is one of the best albums on substance alone, just listen... P.S. I love turning up the bass and playing Made in the USA past my racist neighbors house.
I haven't jammed this many bangers on a Lupe album since The Cool. Lupe is and forever will be one of the GOATs of the rap game. Wish he'd get more shine, though. We all know he deserves it. I'm already looking forward to the next album 😆
One of the few albums where every song carries weight and you'll be foolish to skip a single one. Production on point, the shift in genre as the album goes on is refreshing and lyrically another compelling classic from Lupe. MUST LISTEN
I'm gonna miss you when you're gone... It's free, btw, if you can't afford it here, & can't steal it. It's that important. The Kenji symbol on the cover means smooth or pure. You couldn't ask for more
Another Great Album by Lupe! You have to step in every narrative and not just decypher but feel what hes saying..Lupes tribute to his mom,his understanding of the struggle of dealing, waking up happy in the morning,i can keep going but the stories are good,Its not all about entendres,Man i felt i was lupe id do the same thing on this album,Would you rather rap about anything,or rap about your environment you wake up and see everyday?
Classic as presumed. Couldn't be at a better time for Black Hist Story month. This album is for. A great body of work to tell of the times our community are living in and love always winning.
