Annihilation of the Wicked is the fourth studio album by American technical death metal band Nile. The album was released on May 23, 2005, by Relapse Records. This is the first Nile album to feature George Kollias on drums, replacing Tony Laureano. This album marks Nile's last record released by Relapse. The liner notes detail the theme and writing/recording process of each song. A music video for "Sacrifice Unto Sebek" was produced. It is also the first Nile album produced by Neil Kernon.

The title refers to Zos Kia Cultus, a form of magic developed by Austin Osman Spare. At the end of the track "Horns ov Baphomet", the person speaking is Aleister Crowley. It is from the track At Sea from the CD The Great Beast Speaks, which contains audio files from the only known recording of his voice.
The album was re-released through Peaceville Records as a limited edition digipak. It contained an enhanced audio disc with a video of As Above So Below was included with the release.

Descend into Depravity is the sixth studio album by Dying Fetus. It was released in the United States on September 15, 2009, and worldwide on September 21, 2009. The album's release date and title had been announced on June 4, and the cover and track listing were revealed on July 15.

Gateways to Annihilation is the sixth studio album by the death metal band Morbid Angel.
This album saw a change in musical style as the speed-laden intensity of the previous album Formulas Fatal to the Flesh was abandoned for a slower, more droning style, reminiscent of Blessed Are the Sick. This is also the first album in which Steve Tucker contributed lyrics and music to the band.
Dan Seagrave painted the album cover. This marks the first Morbid Angel album cover he had painted since Altars of Madness.

Dechristianize is the fifth album by American death metal band Vital Remains. It was released on August 22, 2003. The lyrics deal with the Dechristianization of France during the French Revolution. The intro - "Let the Killing Begin" - features a section of Carl Orff's "O Fortuna" and voices from the movie The Greatest Story Ever Told. This album was the first to feature Deicide vocalist Glen Benton, and is generally considered to be the band's breakthrough album.

Vile Nilotic Rites is the ninth studio album by American technical death metal band Nile, released through Nuclear Blast on November 1, 2019. It is the band's first album with bassist Brad Parris and guitarist Brian Kingsland, the latter of whom replaced Dallas Toler-Wade in 2017. Two singles, "Long Shadows of Dread" and the title track, were released from the album. Nile are touring North America throughout November and December 2019 in support of the record.

What Should Not Be Unearthed is the eighth studio album by American technical death metal band Nile. The album was released on August 28, 2015 in North America through Nuclear Blast. It is the last album to feature Dallas Toler-Wade before his departure from the band in 2017.

Those Whom the Gods Detest is the sixth studio album by American technical death metal band Nile. The album was released on November 3, 2009, in North America, and on November 6, 2009, in Europe through Nuclear Blast. It was produced and mixed by Neil Kernon, with Erik Rutan handling the drum recording. The album debuted at #160 on Billboard 200 list in United States.
The cover artwork, a depiction of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten, was brought to realization this time around by Michal "Xaay" Loranc, with whom Karl Sanders has previously worked on his second solo record Saurian Exorcisms.
According to a post on the band's message board, they are planning to release a "making of" documentary covering the rehearsals, preproduction and studio sessions of the album. Liner notes featured in the album booklet, written by Karl Sanders, to explain the concept behind the songs, saw their return on this album. They were previously featured on the albums Black Seeds of Vengeance, In Their Darkened Shrines and Annihilation of the Wicked, however didn't appear on the follow-up album, Ithyphallic.

Ithyphallic is the fifth studio album by American technical death metal band Nile. It was released on July 17, 2007 through Nuclear Blast, in both standard and digipak formats. It is the band's first album released on Nuclear Blast, since signing with them in May 2006. It is also the band's only album since Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka not to feature notes explaining the context of the lyrics. 1,000 limited edition copies of the album were released in a pyramid-shaped box containing the disc, several images, a certificate of ownership and a scroll containing the lyrics and liner notes from the album. The cover art of this album depicts a statue of the god of fertility "Min", being erected by Egyptian slaves. The title means "Erected Phallus" in ancient Greek.

Black Seeds of Vengeance is the second album by American technical death metal band Nile, released on September 5, 2000 through Relapse Records. It was the first album in Nile's discography to mark a more complex musical direction, as well as feature extensive liner notes in the booklet, written by Karl Sanders to explain the concept and themes behind each song. It also was the band's first album recorded with vocalist/guitarist Dallas Toler-Wade, and features Derek Roddy as a session drummer, temporarily replacing previous drummer Pete Hammoura who left the band due to injuries sustained while touring.

Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka

Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka is the debut studio album by American death metal band Nile. The album was released on April 28, 1998, through Relapse Records. The album is considered to be their breakthrough record. In contrast with the following album, Black Seeds of Vengeance, the songs are much shorter in length than the songs featured on later Nile albums.
The title of the album is a reference to the H. P. Lovecraft story "The Outsider". The phrase is featured in the song "Beneath Eternal Oceans of Sand" which has lyrics paraphrased from the aforementioned tale. In Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos, Nephren-Ka was an Egyptian Pharaoh whose unspeakable cult worship led him to be stricken from almost all Egyptian records. The catacombs where he is buried are referenced in several Lovecraft stories as well as many stories by other mythos authors.
The orchestral intro on "Ramses Bringer of War" is strongly inspired by Gustav Holst's Mars movement from The Planets, written between 1914 and 1916.
