I listen to it a few times. We seem to always want music to sound like previous releases. The beats were different but the lyrics are solid as always. The Intro, Light, and Voices in my head/stick to the plan stand out. I have to say his mom is the best feature. The Intro sounds like a prelude to a movie. Another stellar release anyway. Now I just need some new Cyhi black history 3 or something! 😎

I like 6 out of the 14 songs and that's pretty good. Big Sean has been part of my music list since I heard his freestyle on Gucci Manes beat lemonade. Just before he signed with Kanye. He came a long way. And with some minor changes but nevertheless he is still that lyrical genius I knew back then. Rather it's about money or females, he even throws in some of his life events but rather the topic his words speak for his game. #LyricalMastermind

It was a solid album, good flow, great beat selection I just feel his lyrics a really and always have been a little simplistic. He gets better features and producers it seems every time but I would like to see him bar it up some more.

I thought his last album "dark sky paradise" was the best complete album I've heard in awhile, one of those put it on and let it run albums..and he didn't let me down this one. If you still haven't heard either albums you're missing out..but if your like me and you loved "dark sky paradise" you'll love this album too

Expected way more from Sean this time around. I felt he took a step back with this album. Bounce back and his name carried him to 3 stars on this one

Dude sound like he's biting other people's style. Like, Sacrifices sounds like a Drake song. His two single has a new age generic beat and flow. I loved the last album, but this one I can pass on. I'm really dissapointed, and I like Big Sean. If this keeps up. I'm out.

I'm out.

I don't think people realize that sean is the creator of this flow but since drake is a bigger artist he gets the credit drake has admitted that he got this flow from sean none the less this album is therapeutic & it's unfair to compare this album to dsp because they are 2 totally different types of albums

Everyone getting on Sean about his style and what they want him to do; this project showed what was part of him. He actually put effort into an album that had some good lyrics and meaning. Just appreciate the art in this album, unlike most rappers today.

Exactly what Big Sean is, fire. It's a little slower than Paradise and not many features but because he said he wanted a more personal album and step back. And of course the feature with Eminem is too fire.
