Same sound with slightly different ghost-written lyrics. Boring. Drake been played out for years now, but the industry still pushing his trash. Smh.
This song is real, legitimate, and vulnerable. The lyrics and sound are consistent with the struggle Drake's lyrics suggest that he is facing in his life right now. He mentioned on Do Not Disturb, the final song on his last mixtape, on the very last quatrain, that he needed to "take the summer off because they told [him] [he] needs recovery / maybe getting back to [his] regular life will humble [him]" and said he'd be back in '18 with a summary of how it went. Clearly, if he is attempting to find recovery from a substance use disorder, or from toxic relationships, neither is going so well. He's been drinking champagne with breakfast, he's hanging out with people he can't say no to (worse yet, a romantic partner), and he even took a vacation and thought he could just keep his "partying" on vacation but brought it home with him. All in all, whether he realizes it or not, Drake let's us in on a bittersweet relationship he struggles with and ties it into how it affects his attempts at finding recovery. Signs bro. Easy does it.
How about the lyrics? Y'all want a new sound listen to yhatcy and then other fools. Let shorty live man, yo make quality music (facts). Drake do you bruh.
Drizzy. C'mon. Step up your game. This is possibly the most boring song I've heard from ya. And I'm a pretty big Drake fan.. Smh. Get back on that real OvO sound shiii.
How can you people say this is fire? Have you Heard fire before? If this is fire then Meek Mills bars come straight from hell. Give YBA or Glow Up by Meek Mill a listen. Your eyes will be toast by the end. Straight fire.
I'd rather drag my balls through two miles of glass and drink urine rather than listen to this
