Murakami

Murakami are a Russian rock band formed in November, 2004 in a city called Kazan. As stated above, the history of Murakami band had begun in the autumn. In those days it was a music band “Solnce-Ekran” ( which can be literally translated into English as “Sun-Sreen) that offered Dilyara Vagapova lead-singer spot. She was the finalist of the “Narodnij Artist” ( “The national artist”), a Russian reality television singing competition. One month later, the band changed their name to common and beloved “Murakami” . What does band’s name mean? Murakami in Japanese is a middle part of a mountain,which always endeavors to go up.
