Steves J. Bryan
Steves J. Bryan
Also known as the sniper, is a sharp shooter, someone who has a target and will hit that particular target by any means. Well, that is not the only significance of the word.
Steves J. Bryan is a rapper. His music, manner, and magnetism are undeniably, what make him different from the other rappers we are used to hearing.
This revelation was born on September 19th 1989 at Cap Haitien, Haiti under the legal the name of Steves Bryan Joseph. The rapper is born of a Dominican mother and Haitian fatherHe continues.
Previous to becoming the man he is today, the rapper has had his own share of struggles that he has overcome in the course of prayer and meditation.
. He speaks of his struggles in his music but not in his daily life. “I once told my mama I was hungry. She told me to go dream about food,” he recalls. “That honestly did help me, because I was required to use my mind.”
Steves explains that his struggles have taught him to manage his emotions, to make right decisions and predominantly to be a leader within his community, family and friends.
“I don’t use my struggles for honor or glory. I know my potentials . Mwen konn kote menm ka rive. I use my struggles to help young minders in order for them to be strong. If people want to look at the good things I have done and follow them that’s great. As you follow the good I’ve done, remember that I have done wrong like every one else. I’m not perfect.” He explains.
Personality
Steves is a very humorous individual. He may say a very amusing line on a track and laugh right after it. “I take pleasure in the funny things I say, like this line I said on one of my tracks: ‘I don’t do magic/ but I can show you a trick/ there she is on top of my dick.’” He says laughing.
“Lot’s of people say I’m cocky. Yeah, I’m cocky” he agrees. “So what?” He jokes.
Steves believes in school instruction. He says he is just a ghetto child with ghetto education and street knowledge. He balances school knowledge and street knowledge in order to define his personality. As he says on a track with Dailand Crew, a group of rappers based in France: “It’s the ghetto child/with a rebel style/on his hustle pal/putting muscles out/using forces now/ that his mental found / to overcome obstacles given by life/we living to fight/bust metal and aim for the light/we got ghetto education and street knowledge/learn our logic calculation from street corners/we use our imagination to get dollars/we got mind elevation and great powers.” (From Enfant Du Ghetto also featuring Rockfam.
Every so often, he is the committed schoolchild and other times, he goes ghetto. “I can’t help it. I’m from the ghetto. I’ll never forget where I’m from.”
In spite of his ghetto background, the rapper says he hates drama. “I try to avoid verbal conflicts with people. (Quoting from his song ‘Pistol in My Pocket’) “It’s time to be conscious, let’s all learn and be aware of what we say, ain’t no strongest weapons then the words we use everyday.”
The artist explains that the Dominican side of his parentage gives him his Christian ethics. Still, he emphasises on the fact that he isn’t part of any religion. “My religion is love.” He says. “I make the right balance in everything. Give Caesar what is to Caesar and God what is to God.” He finishes.
Perception
“Beyond the walls of intelligence, life is defined.” He says. The man has a perception that he calls a philosophy. Is it what he is saying in his lyrics? Is it just about “I got the flavor of the hood, call me hot sauce?”
No, it isn’t about any of that. He’s a man of spirit, wisdom and intelligence. Contrasting most rappers in the game, Sniper does not smoke or drink. His words are profound and catchy constantly comparing this to that, making people say damn every time, but always wanting more after the last listen.
His influences? In daily life they include Spirituality, nature’s energy, the forces in him along with art, hip-hop, rap, soul, jazz, blues, and classical music. Other essential factors that influenced the rapper’s life are God, Jesus, the Holy Bible, and wise words that come from those who are deep and high minded. The people who influence him in his music are Method Man, 50 cent, Eminem, and Nas.
“Intelligence is all around us so I take my time to observe the positive energy in all of us everywhere.” He says. “[I’m influenced by] everybody who has something positive to say, the light is in every one of us we just need to seek it.” He concludes.
.
Music
Steves’s career debuted as a ghost-writer. His lyrics were the intellect behind various hits in the Rap Kreyol genre such as Men Vibe La, Pa Proche, (Rockfam) and Fresh to Death remix (Curt and Dug G.)Etc…
By the early 2000’s the ghost finally came to life. In the course of 2001, as he free styled in schools around Haiti’s capital city, Port-au-Prince, the upcoming artist began to gain recognition as a fine rapper. In the same year, he gave his first live performance with an unknown rap group at Saint Louis de Gonzague during one of the school’s most attended events, La Famille Saint Lousienne. The performance wasn’t prepared or rehearsed. “I don’t like to sit around and prepare for a show. I like to get on the stage and improvise. It works every single time.” Subsequently, in March 2006 the young artist met Dug G, one of Rockfam’s well-known rappers and free styled for him. He liked Sniper’s freestyle and proposed him to join REPLIK, a Rockfam affiliated rap group. Later, Sniper joined REPLIK and gave his first performance with the group on May 17th 2006. He continued performing REPLIK and even recorded Konbyen w Genyen (he wrote the song) which is accompanied by a video.
The numerous performances with REPLIK also led to frequent performances with Rockfam. His biggest performance with Rockfam was on May 16th 2009, at the Haitian Compas Festival in Miami, Florida, USA. In addition to performances with Rockfam, he has recorded Enfant Du Ghetto with the group (the track also features Dailand Crew) and is also accompanied by a video. In early 2009, Sniper left REPLIK for personal reasons. In the same year, the rapper began his solo career, with an album in production. While working on his album he has also participated on numerous musical collaborations in both the Rap Kreyol and Hip-Hop genres.
Steves raps because he thinks music is revolution and power; revolution of the mind and power of the thought. Rap is the best way for him to let out everything steaming inside of him.
“A musician serves the public like a pastor serves his parishioners with words that change their lifelines. I consider myself a flute that the Lord can blow through to play melodies.” He explains pensively.
Steves J. Bryan is the man with the target, the man aiming for the light and positivism. Regardless of the obstacles in his way, he will hit the target. His next target? You. His lyrics are powerful enough to hit you and leave you mystified. You don’t believe it? Check out his tracks!
Education
From the time I was in Kindergarten, my attitude showed that I was born to be a leader.” The rapper was in Kindergarten at Lollipop in 1990. From 1994-2000 he attended Saint Sebastien which is where he completed elementary school. “I was very turbulent, but I was still known for my good grades and my intelligence.” He recalls. In 2000 Sniper began junior high school at College Roger Anglade. Later, in 2003 he was kicked out of the school because of his turbulence and hyperactivity. After being kicked out of College Roger Anglade, he enrolled in CEC and stayed there from 2003-2006. In 2007, he entered College Frantz Paillière, which is where he graduated high school.
“Before I ever went to the United States, the only travelling I did was through books and the internet. I educated myself through everything positive I could find. I’m not a genius, I’m just aware,” Sniper says.
The rapper speaks several languages, counting French, Creole, and Spanish. He also speaks English, a language he taught himself throughout books, music and simply being aware.
He has taken seminars in Sociology of work. He learned psychology, not professionally but through routine and research. He is currently attending a university where he majors in administration.
Business
Steves is the CEO of his record label High Mind Entertainment that has been established since May 5th 2008 with several upcoming artists. Such as The Sniper.
The rapper is not only into music. He hosts a television show for young people called ‘Komsi Wow’ that airs in the Haitian capital, Port-au-Prince. The show is viewed by 35% of the capital’s population. He is also an activist, has participated in several social culturel activities for his country
Whether the rapper is considering an acting career or not is stated with a big question mark. He has played a role in the video for Rockfam’s hit song ‘Jodi pa demen.’ He has been seen in many Television commercials and has lent his voice in radio publicity for many recreational events. He also has been the talk of several articles in Ticket Magazine.

Marion
I come from a musical family. My uncles all played musical instruments like guitars, mandolins, banjos, etc. My mother was into big band music, and the High School bandleader was deep into classical. I wasn't great on the clarinet, and I didn't like to march, but I loved playing music.
I like all different kinds of music as long as they have rhythm. I think rhythm provides continuity, so I take arrhythmic pieces and add some rhythm, or I compose 4 minute originals, or I take rhythmic pieces and change the rhythm. I did this to about 12,000 midi files and I was getting some traction in the market, especially the Chinese market, when I got busted for copyright by a bunch of music industry giants. So now I just do works that are in the public domain or are original compositions.
Most of my music in instrumental, the instrument being my eight-core PC with 32 gigs of ram, but there are some vocals. Some are original compositions and some are songs from the public domain. I would like to work with another vocalist, but haven't yet been able to make that happen.
Thanks for listening.

DJ Phantom Samurai
When you think of underground hip hop and underground hip hop producers, Ace Century or DJ Phantom Samurai will not be the first name that automatically pops into your head. DJ Phantom Samurai is only one of the stage names of Stefan Goree, who reigns from Detroit, Michigan. DJ Phantom Samurai has a quite massive collection, if I do say so myself, of OVER 20 instrumental albums. Thats quite a lot for one person who started all the way back in 2008 as DJ Angry (WAR: An Instrumental Album) took a somewhat lengthy break until about 2014 officially ("A.N.G.R.Y.: Angry Ni**a Goin' Retarded Ya'know", "Keith: The Instrumental Album" and "Keith Pt. II: Black Magic Is No Laughing Matter", quit for good ("My Life. Goodbye Keith: The Final Chapter" and "Burning Bridges and Cutting Ties") then came back under a new moniker ("Resurection, Pt. 1"). Despite his first few albums being terrible (he said so himself), he got better in time with all due respect.
With him getting better in time, he went on to make beats he could rap over, starting off as Ace The King, later changing it to Ace Century after his "mixtape" (which he prefers to call demo tape for technical reasons). His demo tape was simply him rapping over beats he had previously already made and released on instrumental albums. The most recognized from these are "What The Funk". He later announced a few new "real" mixtapes/albums that he said he would solely produce himself. His debut "compilation" album which consists of 5 beats and 5 actual songs (the latter of which 3 were already previously released on his Soundcloud) titled "Ace Century a.k.a. DJ Phantom Samurai" was released on Bandcamp, Sunday February 21, 2016 with the artist name set as Stefan Goree and the tracks featuring the set artist as either DJ Phantom Samurai (for just the beats ) and Ace Century (for the songs) respectively. His reasoning for the way the tracks are set is because he wants people to know he is both of those people.
He also runs two record labels, H.A.M. Since 98 Records(also ran by Overrid3) and Le Monde Est a Vous Entertainment the latter of which was his deceased labelmates, DJ Assassin Killer, label.

”Seven times a day I praise You because of Your righteous judgments” (Psalms 119:164)
The Origin of the word Agpeya
The word, Agpeya, is a Coptic (ancient Egyptian) word meaning “Book of Hours.” It is based on the Coptic root word, ti agp, which means “hour.”
The Book of Hours
The Agpeya is primarily used by the Coptic Orthodox Church. It contains prayers for seven different hours to be said throughout the day. The hours are chronologically laid out, each containing a theme corresponding to events in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ. Each hour is composed of an introduction which includes the Lord’s Prayer, the Prayer of Thanksgiving, and Psalm 50. It is followed by various Psalms, an excerpt from the Holy Gospel, and Litanies. Lord Have Mercy is then chanted 41 times (representing the 39 lashes Christ received before the crucifixion, plus one for the spear in His side, plus one for the crown of thorns), followed by several other prayers and a conclusion.
When do we Read the Agpeya?
The Agpeya is read throughout the day and in many situations. The hours of the day start from sunrise and end at sunset. The morning prayer (Prime), which corresponds to 6 a.m., is said upon waking up in the morning or after the Midnight praise the previous night. The Terce (9 a.m.) and Sext (noon) hours are prayed before each liturgy during the Offering of Incense. The None (3 p.m.) hour is also read during fasting days. Vespers (sunset) and Compline (9 p.m.) are read in the early evening and before bedtime, respectively. and are both read before the Liturgy during the Lent and the fast of Nineveh. The Midnight hour is read just before the Midnight Praise. The Veil hour is reserved for priests, monks and bishops.

Around the day of the Happy Flying Unicorn back in 2009 a craigslist ad was posted from a libertine seeking biology...what a concept. Maybe a hazard, maybe not; we came from two different differences within the mind-state that mandates a Massachusetts lifestyle. Prophylactic encumbrance cuts off the short-lived skills that once were so tender and mild, they now elicit the nature of violence and outrage we all experience once in a while. Don't listen to the Gucking radio. It can not help you. Set up camp. ThisKindFriend till the end with or without these peoples, as you too are thiskindfriend with or without your own peoples. Life holds the opportunity to experience live and question in the end, for as the waves crash over we are not cleansed rather salted and turn trifle for this earth. now allowing sounds used to symbolically recreate biological rhythm making first contact then be heard...to know the ledge then under youll stand as a product of different teachers...as the apple does not fall far from the tree yet it falls and on times comes to be that of a bruised perceived as dying fruit till she splits open and out from inside sprouts the seeds of mind brought from all our higgs boson glue like qualities a thiskindfriend obejective unlocked...now lets live in love always and keep pace for we get strong when we're dying and stronger as we're dying and as steady studies triumph the polar bears an instinct becomes extinct periodically...t.a.n.k.s. are listening. now awl welcomed too that may now have had enjoyment through thiskindfriend with or without any kindfriend thankyou kindfriend run(from) through thiskindfri-END
