Flavien Berger surprises and intercepts for finally bewitching. By playing with words to create sentimental stories and by testing swirling sounds, the 28 years old and self taught musician quickly appeared as a new breath on the french scene. Flavien Berger, who also belongs to a french collective “ collectif sin~” that works on artistic experiments, has always been interesting by fiddling with engines and making sounds. On this point, it is really hard to define his style : he goes beyond, wonderfully manages to deal with strain moments and long synthetic patches. By withstanding against the need of classification, he offers music with aquatic influences, mainly on his first album “Leviathan” . He comes up each time with different dynamics and makes the listener walk between rapid rises and dark descents. Listening to all his releases or seeing him in live will confirm is strength which is to bring people with him through a deep emotional experience, full of imagination.
