About the artist
An idea conceived on a ranch in Walker County, Texas, Jamestown Revival is the culmination of long time friends Jonathan Clay & Zach Chance. It's a combination of tight harmonies, southern roots rock, and lyrics about life & the outdoors. Drawing influence on everything from 'The Band', to Simon and Garfunkel, their main instruments are a Gibson 335 electric guitar, and a Wurlitzer piano, but you could see everything from a lap steel to a rain-stick at their live show. Recently, the two made the decision to pick up their things and head west to Los Angeles. Maybe it was the need for a change of scenery, or maybe it was good old fashioned unrest, but regardless of the reason, it is proving to be a good decision. The pair recently played The Ford Amphitheater as one of the featured bands of the sold-out 'Evening of Independence'. In addition to carving a niche in the LA music scene (including a recently secured residency at the 'Hotel Cafe'), they've been touring the North West, playing everywhere from Seattle, to Salt Lake City.
