The Sour Notes
The Sour Notes are an American independent rock band from Austin, Texas, formed in 2008 by multi-instrumentalist Jared Boulanger—who writes and composes all of the band's material.
They are known for their cross-genre, DIY aesthetic, self-releasing over six albums, three 7-inch records, two EPs and a cassette. The Sour Notes have toured nationally over ten times, making appearances at CMJ, SXSW, NXNE, Fun Fun Fun Fest, The UMS, Free Press Summer Fest and have shared stages with such diverse bands as The Dandy Warhols, Of Montreal, Foxygen, Future Islands, We Are Scientists, Marnie Stern and Daniel Johnston.

OneHunnidt, is an American painter and Hip Hop recording artist from Houston, Texas. He’s earned praise for both his artwork and music, earning a reputation as a new voice in Houston’s booming indie scene. Rising to prominence with a string of well received mixtapes and performances, aside from his solo efforts, OneHunnidt is the creator of Houston based collective and independent imprint The NUMB3RS Committee.
In 2010 tragedy struck when his younger brother Jonathan Johnson (JJ) was murdered outside of a gas station in southwest Houston. Drake refers to the case in the outro to his 2010 hit “Miss Me” featuring Lil Wayne with the line, “forever in our hearts, JJ. Love ya boy”. Influencing his music going forward, the Houston Press noted that “Almost all of OneHunnidt’s work from there on feels like it could spiral back to that one point.”
In interviews with 97.9 the Box and Houston Trend Magazine, OneHunnidt named his biggest influences as Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill, Kanye West, and Pimp C.
