Tia London developed a cult following through a mix of sexy 90's R&B and modern hip hop in the 2010's. She first gained the hearts of listeners from her singles "Nothing On You" and one of her most popular "Thinking about It”.
Tia London, born Latia Bell on July 22nd 1988 hails where where many other great musicians are from the south side of Chicago. It was there where she discovered her love for music at the early age of 13. In school, Tia enjoyed writing and easily excelled in subjects like English. She wrote poetry to express herself and later coupled her love for poetry and music and begin to write and record. Tia's musical styled developed as she listened to artist like Jay-z, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Aaliyah. Tia also credits R. Kelly, Missy Elliot & The Dream as her musical influences because of their artistry and song writing. She has been compared to Lauryn Hill and Drake because of her song writing, rapping and singing.
Tia considers herself a song-writer first and it was her song-writing that caught the ear of Grammy nominated producer The Legendary Traxster. Traxster sensed something special and unique about Tia's voice & songwriting and singed her to his imprint in 2009. The two begin to work on a number of songs one of which landed Tia her first major collaboration with rapper Twista on "2012" from his album "The Perfect Storm" in 2010. The two soon after released Tia's first project entitled "Love Junkie" in 2011 and "The Overdose" the following year.
Over the next few years their musical chemistry and love grew as well. In 2015 the two wed and gave birth to their first child. They also released a number of singles including "The Way That You Love Me" and "Who Better". In 2016 they released 30 singles and a project entitled "2:44 am" which is the time that she gave birth to her son. The songs reflected a more mature and polished Tia than her previous work. In early 2017, Tia and her husband started a new company "Nothing But Dope" and signed a distribution deal through Priority Records. Tia plans to continue to put out more music including an album entitled "Alien".
