Katorah Marrero, better known by her stage name Young M.A, is an American rapper and entrepreneur from Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn, NY. She prides herself on being real and making music that her audience can relate to. The acronym in her stage name, "M.A" stands for "Me Always." She first gained notoriety with the release of the now triple-platinum on May 12, 2016 hit single "OOOUUU", breaking the Billboard Top 20, boasting 150,000 radio spins and 296 million YouTube views on the music video.
After the success of her debut single, Young M.A was nominated for BET and MTV Artist of the Year and Female Hip-Hop Artist of the Year awards. She graced the covers of The Fader and High Snobiety magazines, and she has been featured in Vogue and The New York Times. In 2016 Young M. A. opened for Beyonce at MetLife Stadium.
