Wild child, TYLA YAWEH, has been steadily growing a strong base of support amongst the music games top elites. Born in Florida as Tyler Jamal Brown, TYLA YAWEH uprooted from Orlando to Los Angeles in 2015 to pursue his musical aspirations. With only a few hundred to his name, TYLA kept focused on his goal of becoming one of the game’s biggest rockstar’s, even when faced with financial hardships that landed him homeless and forced to sleep in studios, cars and couches when he could. Through all the trials and struggles, he continued to push forward recording music any chance he could and perfecting his live performance.
The 23-year old has since made a strong name for himself within the industry showcasing his performance to support various sold out North American and European tours with Post Malone /SaintJHN & Yung Pinch. Additionally, TYLA has been on large festival line-ups such as; Rolling Loud, The Hollywood Bowl and Made in America. TYLA’s collaboration roster stems from artists such as French Montana, OVO’s Preme, Post Malone, SaintJHN, Ski Mask, The Slump God and Juice WRLD to name a few. In 2018, TYLA brought on manager Tes Siyoum/ Bobby Greenleaf to navigate his career & signed a deal with Dre London and Post Malone for label services. Being heavily influenced by R&B, Hip-Hop and Pop, TYLA YAWEH effortlessly blends genres creating a unique sound that easily makes him one of this year’s artists to watch. A string of releases in 2018 including his single “She Bad” and “Gemini” have amassed over 8 million streams to date. Following his hit singles, TYLA’s recent release “She Bad” music video premiered debuted on COMPLEX with 1 million views in the first week, leading the rollout for his debut album, Heart Full of Rage.
