Richard O'Brien

Richard O'Brien is an English-New Zealand actor, writer, musician, and television presenter. He wrote the musical stage show The Rocky Horror Show in 1973 which became an international success and has remained in continuous production. He also co-wrote the screenplay of the film adaptation The Rocky Horror Picture Show, released in 1975, appearing in the film as Riff Raff. O’Brien was a member of the pop duo Kimi and Ritz from 1973 to 1976. He wrote Shock Treatment and appeared in the film as Dr Cosmo McKinley.
O'Brien appeared in the ITV series Robin of Sherwood, as Gulnar, alongside Jason Connery. He presented the television show The Crystal Maze for Channel 4 from 1990 to 1993. He appeared in the 1997 film Spice World, and was also the voice of Lawrence Fletcher, the title characters' father in Phineas and Ferb.
