Greatest Hits is the seventh and final album with by the group Klymaxx. It featured one song from group founder Bernadette Cooper's 1990 solo album Drama According to Bernadette Cooper, called "I Look Good", as well as a compilation of their greatest hits. This is the first greatest hits package released by Klymaxx. Another compilation was released in 2003 as part of the 20th Century Masters Millennium Collection.
Meeting In The Ladies Room
Meeting in the Ladies Room is the third studio album by Klymaxx, released in 1984. In the US, it reached No. 18 on the Billboard 200 and No. 9 on the R&B album chart. It is certified Platinum.
Klymaxx gained airplay on MTV, VH1 and BET with the release of their single "The Men All Pause" that reached No. 5 on the R&B chart, No. 80 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 9 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. The title track reached No. 59 on the Hot 100 and No. 4 on the R&B chart. The third single, "I Miss You", reached No. 5 on the Hot 100, No. 11 on the R&B chart and No. 1 on the adult contemporary chart and was certified gold. The fourth, and final, single, "Lock and Key", reached No. 47 on the R&B chart.
Girls Will Be Girls
Klymaxx is the fourth studio album by Klymaxx, released in 1986.
Klymaxx gained airplay on MTV, VH1 and BET with the release of their single "Man Size Love". The song reached #43 on the R&B chart, #15 on the Billboard Hot 100, and #18 on the Billboard Dance Chart.
The second single "Sexy" would become a moderate hit single. The song reached #18 on the R&B chart.
The third single "I'd Still Say Yes" was the biggest hit on the album, reaching #18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #7 on the R&B chart, and #8 on the Adult Contemporary chart. The single was certified gold.
The fourth and final single was the dance hit "Divas Need Love Too", which was a moderate hit for Klymaxx. It only reached #14 on the R&B chart.
The album would go on to reach #98 on the Billboard 200 and #25 on the R&B Album Chart. The album is certified Gold.
The Maxx Is Back
The Maxx Is Back is the fifth studio album by Klymaxx, released in 1990. By this time, the group only consisted of three original members: Lorena Porter Shelby, Cheryl Cooley and Robbin Grider. Bernadette Cooper, Lynn Malsby and Joyce "Fenderella" Irby were not involved in the project.
The first single, "Good Love", was a successful single in the United States among R&B fans, reaching number four on the R&B chart. The second and final single, "Private Party", was a moderate hit, peaking at number 62 on the R&B chart.
The album reached number 168 on the Billboard 200 and number 32 on the R&B Albums chart. The album has sold approximately 166,000 copies in the U.S.
Never Underestimate the Power of a Woman
Never Underestimate the Power of a Woman is the debut album by R&B group Klymaxx. Released in 1981, it was produced by Otis Stokes and Stephen Shockley. The title is taken from the slogan of Ladies' Home Journal.
