Widow's Weeds is the fifth studio album by American rock band Silversun Pickups. The album was released on June 7, 2019 through the band's own imprint, New Machine Recordings.
Better Nature is the fourth studio album by Los Angeles alternative rock band Silversun Pickups. The album was produced by Jacknife Lee, and was released on September 25, 2015. It is the first of the band's albums to be released on their own label, New Machine Records; as well as their first to be supported by a Pledgemusic campaign. It is also the group's first album to feature a song under four minutes. The album was announced on July 15, 2015. The lead single for the album, "Nightlight," was released to radio on August 6, 2015. It was accompanied by a music video, directed by Mark Pellington and starring Boardwalk Empire actor Meg Steedle. The album's second single, "Circadian Rhythm," was premiered via The Daily Beast on September 10, 2015. An accompanying video, directed by Scott Weintrob, was released to YouTube and Vevo the following day.
Neck Of The Woods
Silversun Pickups are at their best when letting their riffs do the talking for them—and when they do that talking loud. Singer/guitarist Brian Aubert's nasal, teeth-clenched vocals—along with the band's surging guitar work—have earned them some Smashing Pumpkins comparisons, but Aubert's dramatic turns don't quite have the nagging personality of Billy Corgan's whine. On opener "Skin Graph," his thin, reedy singing is all but drowned out by the guitar's persistent jet take-off roar—and it's one of the album's strongest moments. Ditto the jagged pre-chorus riff of "Mean Spirits." Elsewhere, the band hits happier mediums, as on "Simmer" or "Busy Bees," which begins with a skipping, slipping drum machine beat—typical of this album's electronic flourishes—and builds, snare drums snapping, to a singularly convincing climax.
Swoon is the second full-length studio album by Los Angeles alternative rock band Silversun Pickups, released through Dangerbird Records on 14 April 2009. The name of the album comes from a line in the outro of the first track "There's No Secrets This Year."
Carnavas is the debut studio album by alternative band Silversun Pickups. It was released on July 25, 2006. The title is an homage to lead guitarist and vocalist Brian Aubert's Greek heritage. Some suppliers were also given copies of The Tripwire Session: Live In Chicago, a four track EP.
The album generated two successful singles on the US Modern Rock chart. "Lazy Eye" hit #5 in 2007 and "Well Thought Out Twinkles" hit #9 in 2008. Carnavas has sold more than 500,000 copies and was certified gold on May 31, 2018.

It Doesn't Matter Why (Math Bishop Remix)
Better Nature (Revisited)
Latchkey Kids (Joywave Remix)
Bloody Mary (Nerve Endings)
Though it had been two years since Silversun Pickups' last full-length album, Swoon, the band returns with this three-song single of outtakes from that album's recording sessions. These songs fit with Swoon's polished shoegaze rock, but it's easy to see why they might have shelved that in favor of more pop-oriented tracks such as "Substitution" or grandiose rockers like "The Royal We." Still, there are some fine moments here: the appropriately pitching and yawing "Seasick," with its low rolling bass line and seagull guitar squalls circling overhead; the appealing chorus of descending gasps on "Broken Bottles"; and the heavy atmosphere of "Ribbons and Detours."
