Dancing Shadows is the fifth studio album from American singer and songwriter Mario, released on October 5, 2018. The release of the album marks the first under the singer's own imprint New Citizen LLC, in partnership with EMPIRE Distribution.
The album serves as a follow-up to his fourth album D.N.A. and his first studio effort in almost a decade. It features production from Mario himself, Jake Gosling, xSDTRK, Daecolm, Pham, J Warner, P2J and Ryan McDermott.
The album's lead single, "Drowning" was released on July 20, 2018, along with the accompanying music video, while the second single, "Dancing Shadows" was released on September 14, 2018 and also includes an accompanying music video.
The album debuted atop the iTunes R&B charts. To further promote the album, Mario will appear as supporting act for B2K on The Millennium Tour.

T.K.O. (The Knock Out) is the eighth studio album by American recording artist Mýa. It is the follow–up to her Grammy nominated album Smoove Jones and was released April 20, 2018, on her label Planet 9 to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of her debut album Mýa. Recorded between 2015–2016, T.K.O. is solely produced in its entirely by musician and producer Lamar "MyGuyMars" Edwards with additional production from Los Da Mystro, Lyle LeDuff, Hardwerk and Khirye Tyler. Sonically, T.K.O. is a contemporary R&B album fusing elements of 1970s and 1990s R&B with a more modern, contemporary sound and serves as departure from her previous studio effort Smoove Jones which paid homage to traditional R&B from the 1970s, '80s, and '90s era. T.K.O. has spawned five singles – "Ready for Whatever", "Ready, Part II", "You Got Me", "Damage", and "Knock You Out".

Passion Like Fire is the seventh studio album by Canadian singer Tamia. It was released on September 7, 2018 through Plus One Music Group and 21 Entertainment. Her first project to be distributed by eOne Music, its release marked twenty years since the release of her solo debut single "Imagination" and its eponymous parent album. A breakaway from her previous album Love Life, the singer worked with a smaller team of collaborators on the album, involving longtime contributors Shep Crawford and Salaam Remi as well as songwriters Lundon Knighten and Jonas Myrin and chief producer Lil' Ronnie and his team.
The album debuted at number 145 on the US Billboard 200, becoming her lowest-charting album yet, while reaching number 17 on Top R&B Albums chart. Its release was preceded by the singles "Leave It Smokin'" and "Today I Do", the former of which became her biggest hit in years, peaking at number two on Billboard's Adult R&B Songs. A third single, "It's Yours", has since reached the top ten on the same chart. In support of the album, Tamia embarked on the Passion Like Fire Tour which launched on September 18, 2018 and visited most of the major US cities.

Trip is the second studio album by American singer Jhené Aiko. It was released on September 22, 2017, by ARTium and Def Jam Recordings. It succeeds Aiko's debut album Souled Out, which was released three years prior, and the collaborative album Twenty88, while releasing numerous non-album singles in between.
The album contains production from frequent collaborators Dot da Genius, Fisticuffs, No I.D. and Key Wane, along with several other record producers such as Amaire Johnson, Frank Dukes, Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat and Mike Zombie. It includes guest appearances from Big Sean, Rae Sremmurd, Kurupt, Brandy, Mali Music, Aiko's father, with the moniker, Dr. Chill, Aiko's daughter, Namiko Love, and Chris Brown.
