Haus Party, Pt. 1
Haus Party, Pt. 1 is the second extended play by American singer-songwriter and YouTube personality Todrick Hall. It is the first in a planned trilogy of Haus Party EPs to be released throughout 2019. While it was originally announced that Part Two would be released in July followed by Party Three in September 2019, the release of Haus Party, Pt. 2 was delayed to September 19, 2019. Part Three was originally announced to be released on October 30, 2019, but the release date was pushed back to November 27, 2019.

The Kids Are Alright is the debut studio album by American R&B duo Chloe x Halle. It was released on March 23, 2018, by Beyoncé's record label Parkwood Entertainment. The album features guest collaborations from rappers GoldLink, Kari Faux and Joey Bada$$.
The album is primarily a R&B album, although it features elements of trap. The album was supported by the title track, released as the lead single on January 3, 2018. Along with fourteen new songs, the album also featured "Grown", the track recorded by the duo that serves as the theme song for the American comedy series Grown-ish, as well as two songs from their 2016 EP Sugar Symphony. The song "Warrior" was featured in A Wrinkle in Time.
To promote the album, the duo performed the album track "Happy Without Me" and "The Kids Are Alright" on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and released a 10-minute short film named after the album.

Everything is Love is a collaborative studio album by American singer Beyoncé and rapper Jay-Z, billed as the Carters, their surnames by marriage. It was released on June 16, 2018, by Parkwood Entertainment, Sony Music Entertainment, S.C Enterprises, and Roc Nation.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z produced the entire album with Cool & Dre, Fred Ball, and Pharrell Williams. Additional vocalists recorded for the album include Williams, Quavo, Offset, and Ty Dolla Sign, among others. The hip hop and R&B album explores themes of romantic love, fame, wealth, and black pride.
The album was not made public until its release was announced by Beyonce and Jay-Z while onstage at a London concert for their On the Run II Tour and later through their social media accounts. It was originally exclusive to the streaming service Tidal, before given a wider release on June 18, 2018. In its first week, Everything Is Love debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200, recording 123,000 album-equivalent units, of which 70,000 were pure album sales. It was also a critical success.

When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish. It was released on March 29, 2019 by Darkroom and Interscope Records. Eilish co-wrote most of the record alongside her brother Finneas O'Connell, who handled its production. Musically, the album has been characterized as a pop, avant-pop and art pop record, though features several other genre influences including hip hop and industrial music.
When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was praised by music critics for its subject matter, songwriting, cohesion and Eilish's vocal delivery. It was also a commercial success, topping charts in numerous countries including in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Two singles, "You Should See Me in a Crown" and "When the Party's Over", were released prior to the album's announcement, while its third single, "Bury a Friend", accompanied the record's pre-order and was met with critical acclaim. These were followed by three more singles, "Wish You Were Gay", the Billboard Hot 100 number one single "Bad Guy", and "All the Good Girls Go to Hell".

17 is the debut extended play (EP) by American R&B singer-songwriter Zhavia Ward. It was released on June 14, 2019, by record labels Columbia Records and Sony Music. 17 follows Ward's appearance on Fox reality television series The Four: Battle for Stardom, where she placed as one of the four finalists. In May 2019, Ward was featured on the soundtrack album Aladdin, performing a version of the song "A Whole New World" with English musician Zayn.

The Pains of Growing is the second studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Alessia Cara. The album was released on November 30, 2018, by Def Jam Recordings. Its songs were mostly written by Cara, with co-writing from producers Pop & Oak. Musically, The Pains of Growing was inspired by three years of the singer's life that led up to its release. Critics described the album's sound as "big-sister pop", and praised Cara's songwriting ability.
It debuted at number 71 on the US Billboard 200 and at number 21 in Canada. The Pains of Growing was supported by three singles. "Growing Pains", released as the album's lead single on June 15, 2018, charted at number 65 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and at number 36 in Canada. "Trust My Lonely" and "Out of Love" were respectively released as its second and third singles. Cara promoted The Pains of Growing through a series of public appearances and televised live performances.

Thank U, Next is the fifth studio album by American singer Ariana Grande, released on February 8, 2019, by Republic Records. Following the release of her previous studio album Sweetener, Grande began working on a new album in October of the same year, enlisting writers and producers such as Tommy Brown, Max Martin, Ilya Salmanzadeh and Andrew "Pop" Wansel. The album was created in the midst of personal matters, including the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller and her break-up with fiancé Pete Davidson.
The title track was released as the album's lead single on November 3, 2018, peaking atop the charts of 12 countries and becoming Grande's first number-one single on the US Billboard Hot 100. The track also broke a string of records, including the record for the most plays in a single day by a female artist on Spotify. Its second single, "7 Rings", was released on January 18, 2019, peaking at number one in 15 countries and making Grande the third female artist to have two or more songs debuting atop the Hot 100. "Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" was released as the third single on the day of the album's release.
Queen is the fourth studio album by Trinidadian-American rapper Nicki Minaj. It was released on August 10, 2018, through Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records. It is Minaj's first album in nearly four years, following The Pinkprint. The rapper started recording the album in late 2016, and throughout 2017 and 2018, she collaborated with a handful of producers and songwriters to reach her desired sound. It features guest appearances by rappers Eminem, Foxy Brown, Future, Swae Lee, and Lil Wayne; and singers Ariana Grande, Labrinth, and The Weeknd. Musically, it is a hip hop album that incorporates elements of pop and R&B.
The album's release date was delayed before ultimately being released a week ahead of schedule. It was supported by four singles: the lead single, "Chun-Li", released on April 12, 2018; "Bed", released on June 14, "Barbie Dreams" released on August 14 and a remix of "Good Form" on December 4. "Rich Sex" was released as a promotional single on June 11. "Barbie Tingz" was released alongside the lead single, but this single would only be featured on the Target exclusive version.

Musgraves co-wrote all 13 tracks and co-produced the album with Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk. The album debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200.
Golden Hour received widespread acclaim from critics, winning in all four of its nominated categories at the 61st Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Best Country Album. The project is her first release since her sixth studio album Younger Now, and her first EP since The Time of Our Lives. It is the first of three six-song EPs – to be followed by She Is Here and She Is Everything – that will comprise her full-length seventh studio album She Is Miley Cyrus.
Cyrus recorded She Is Coming between March through May 2018, during which time she completed the original version of the album. Cyrus collaborated with producers including Mike Will Made It, Mark Ronson, and Andrew Wyatt from Miike Snow; featured artists include Ghostface Killah, RuPaul, and Swae Lee. The album features guest appearances from DaBaby, Future, Halsey, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Scott, SZA, Swae Lee, and Young Thug. The production was handled by Andrew Watt, BloodPop, Brian Lee, Carter Lang, DJ Dahi, Emile Haynie, Frank Dukes, and Malone himself, among others.
Hollywood's Bleeding received generally positive reviews and debuted atop the US Billboard 200. It is Malone's second US number-one album.
