This Side of Paradise - EP
This Side of Paradise is the second extended play (EP) by American singer and actress Hayley Kiyoko, and it was co-released by herself and Steel Wool Entertainment in February 3, 2015. The entire album was written and recorded by Kiyoko along with producer and multi-instrumentalist James Flannigan and is described as a pop record. The EP was preceded by the release of the single "This Side of Paradise" in September 29, 2014.

The album is preceded by Sivan's fourth extended play Wild, which served as a 6-song opening installment to Blue Neighbourhood.
The album has generated the singles "Wild", "Youth", "Talk Me Down" and "Heaven". "Wild" was ultimately remixed and re-released as a single with Alessia Cara.
Know-It-All is the debut studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Alessia Cara. It was released on November 13, 2015 through Def Jam Recordings. The album followed the release of her debut extended play Four Pink Walls, which Cara regarded as a preview of the album. Know-It-All contains the five original songs from Four Pink Walls as well as five new songs recording for the album.
Cara co-wrote all the tracks and worked closely with Pop & Oak and Sebastian Kole amongst others. The album led Cara to receive the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2018.

Like their previous album Vessel, the album takes influence from various genres, including hip hop, rock, pop, reggae, and indie. Lyrically, the album incorporates themes of mental health, doubt, and religion. It contains the successful singles "Stressed Out" and "Ride", which both reached the top-five on the Billboard Hot 100.
Blurryface was well-received by critics, who complimented its themes and musical diversity. It is considered to be the band's breakthrough album, becoming their first to reach number one on the Billboard 200. The album has sold over 1.5 million copies in the United States as of April 2017. In 2018, Blurryface became the first album in the digital era to have every track receive at least a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. On May 15, 2019 it reached the milestone of being on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart for four straight years, never leaving the chart.

Death of a Bachelor is the fifth studio album by American rock band Panic! at the Disco, released January 15, 2016 on Fueled by Ramen and DCD2. It is the follow-up to the band's fourth studio album, Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!, with the entire album written and recorded by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Brendon Urie, among external writers. It is the band's first album to not feature drummer Spencer Smith and also follows bassist Dallon Weekes' departure from the official line-up, subsequently becoming a touring member once again.
Death of a Bachelor debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, with 190,000 album units, earning the band its best sales week and first number one album. The album has been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for sales of at least 2,000,000 copies. It was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.

Haiz is the debut extended play (EP) by American actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld. It was released on November 13, 2015, by Republic Records. The EP was preceded by the lead single, "Love Myself", which has reached the top 40 on multiple international singles charts. The second single, "Rock Bottom", featuring the band DNCE was released on February 27, 2016.
The EP received mixed to positive reviews upon release and achieved modest commercial success in North America. Critics described the record as "fun" and empowering but felt that Steinfeld lacked personality. It debuted at number 38 on the Canadian Albums Chart and number 57 on the US Billboard 200. The deluxe edition, released only in Japan, debuted at number 76 on the Oricon album chart in 2016.

Queen of the Clouds is the debut studio album by Swedish singer Tove Lo. It was released on 24 September 2014 by Island Records. The album follows her first extended play Truth Serum and includes the successful singles "Habits" and "Talking Body". Lo worked with several writers and producers such as The Struts, Klas Åhlund, Alexander Kronlund, Alx Reuterskiöld, and Captain Cuts. Lyrically, the album's themes center on the stages of a relationship, including passion, love and break-ups.
The album garnered generally positive reviews from music critics who praised its production and lyrical content. On 25 September 2015, a Blueprint edition of the album was announced, including tracks from Truth Serum, a new version of "Moments", as well as the song "Not Made for This World" originally a Spotify only bonus track, and an explicit version of the song "Scream My Name" from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1. She promoted the album with television performances and later on her Queen of the Clouds Tour.
Melodrama is the second studio album by New Zealand singer Lorde, released through Universal, Lava and Republic Records on 16 June 2017. A departure from the minimalist style of her debut album Pure Heroine, it is a pop and electropop record incorporating piano instrumentation and maximalist electronic beats. It was primarily written and produced by Lorde and Jack Antonoff, with production input by several high-profile producers including Frank Dukes, Flume, Malay, S1 and Joel Little.
The album, recorded after Lorde's breakup with long-time boyfriend James Lowe in 2015, has been described as a loose concept album that explores the theme of solitude. It follows the framework of a single house party, and the events and moods that ensue. During her writing sessions, Lorde flew between the United States and New Zealand several times, examining the world around her, and continued working through erroneous starts, unsuccessful detours and periods of inactivity as she retreated from the public spotlight.
Melodrama received widespread acclaim from critics, many of whom commended its songwriting, production and Lorde's vocal performance.

For the album, Styles worked with producers Jeff Bhasker, Alex Salibian, Tyler Johnson and Kid Harpoon.
The record has been described by various music publications as a collection of soft rock, rock, Britpop and pop. It was preceded by the release of its lead single, "Sign of the Times", while "Two Ghosts" and "Kiwi" served as the second and third singles, respectively. It received generally positive reviews from music critics and debuted atop the charts in several countries, including Australia, Canada, the UK and the US. It has been certified platinum in the US, Australia, Canada, Poland, and Mexico, and gold in nine countries, including the UK. The Human Condition is the debut studio album by American hip hop recording artist Jon Bellion. The album was released on June 10, 2016, through Visionary Music Group and Capitol Records. It was supported by four promotional singles: "Guillotine", "All Time Low", "80's Films", and "Maybe IDK". "All Time Low" was later announced as the lead single from the album and was released on May 13, 2016. Bellion released early versions of "All Time Low" and "Woke the F*ck Up" in 2015 along with the song "Woodstock", which did not feature on the record. "Overwhelming" was released as a single on April 25, 2017.

This Is Acting
This Is Acting is the seventh studio album by Australian singer and songwriter Sia. It was released on 29 January 2016 by Inertia, Monkey Puzzle and RCA Records. The album is mostly composed of songs written by Sia for other pop artists that were not included on their albums. Sia described songwriting for others as "play-acting," hence the title This Is Acting.
"Alive", the album's lead single, was released on 24 September 2015. The second single, "Cheap Thrills", was released on 11 February 2016, becoming a top 5 in a number of markets and marking her first number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. The remix of the track featured guest vocals from Sean Paul. A deluxe edition of This Is Acting was released on 21 October 2016 featuring seven new tracks, including the single remix of "Cheap Thrills" and the solo and Kendrick Lamar-assisted versions of "The Greatest". The fourth single, "Move Your Body" was released on 6 January 2017. The singles "Cheap Thrills" and "The Greatest" both reached the top 5 in numerous countries. The singles "Alive" and "Move your Body" only managed to reach the top 100 in numerous countries.
FMA is the debut studio album by Australian singer and songwriter Grace. It follows the release of her debut extended play Memo, and was released on 1 July 2016 through RCA.

Confident is the fifth studio album by American singer Demi Lovato. It was released on October 16, 2015, by Hollywood, Island and Safehouse Records. The album features guest appearances from Australian rapper Iggy Azalea and American rapper Sirah. While Lovato co-wrote most of the songs on the album, she worked with writers and producers such as Max Martin, Ryan Tedder, Steve Mac, Rami and Stargate, among others.
The album received positive reviews from critics, who praised its themes. Its lead single, "Cool for the Summer", was released on July 1, 2015, peaking at number 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was certified double platinum by RIAA. Bubblebath is the debut extended play (EP) by American singer and YouTube personality Poppy, under the name That Poppy. It was released digitally on February 12, 2016, by Island Records. It is the first musical release, preceding the release of Poppy's debut studio album, Poppy.Computer, on October 6, 2017.
Handwritten is the debut studio album by Canadian singer Shawn Mendes, and was released on April 14, 2015 by Island. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 119,000 album-equivalent units, of which 106,000 copies were pure album sales. The album includes "Stitches", which reached top 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the UK Singles Chart for 2 weeks, while its reissue features the US top 20 single "I Know What You Did Last Summer". Dangerous Woman is the third studio album by American singer Ariana Grande, released by Republic Records on May 20, 2016. The album is the follow-up to her second studio album My Everything, and features guest appearances from Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Macy Gray and Future. The album was originally to be titled Moonlight and the song "Focus" was the intended lead single. However, later the album's name was changed to Dangerous Woman and "Focus" was removed from the album's standard track listing. Dangerous Woman is primarily a pop and R&B album, with influences of dance-pop, disco, house, trap, and reggae genres. Grande, Max Martin, and Savan Kotecha were the album's executive producers. All three wrote or produced songs for the album, as did musicians such as Ilya Salmanzadeh and Tommy Brown.
The album debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200, earning 175,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, with 129,000 coming from pure sales. It was her first album to not hit number-one in the country. However, it became her first number one album in the UK.

Oh Wonder is the debut studio album by alt-pop duo Oh Wonder, self-released on September 4, 2015. The album is the accumulation of singles released monthly throughout 2014-2015, in addition to two unreleased songs.
White Noise is the debut studio album by American rock band Pvris. Pvris formed as a five-piece metalcore band in Lowell, Massachusetts in 2012. Following the band becoming a four-piece of vocalist/guitarist Lyndsey Gunnulfsen, guitarist Alex Babinski, bassist Brian MacDonald and drummer Brad Griffin, the group's sound changed. Bringing pop and electronic elements into their music, the band released a self-titled EP. After winning a contest, the band played a week on Warped Tour; following this, Griffin left the band. The group signed with Rise and Velocity in June 2014. White Noise was recorded with producer Blake Harnage. Harnage would help co-write several songs on the album with Gunnulfsen; Sierra Kusterbeck helped co-write a few songs with Harnage and Gunnulfsen.
"St. Patrick" was released as a single in June 2014. In September, a music video was released for "My House". A month later, the title track was made available for streaming. White Noise was released in November through Rise and Velocity. Receiving positive reviews, the album charted in the top 100 in the U.S., and in the top 200 in the UK. Evolution is the second studio album by American singer Sabrina Carpenter, released on October 14, 2016, by Hollywood Records. Sabrina began recording the album in 2015, shortly after the launch of her first studio album, Eyes Wide Open until 2016.
The album received positive reviews from music critics, commercially the album debuted at number 28 on the US Billboard 200 and sold 11,500 copies in its first week.
