Little Stories is the second solo album from Melbourne singer / songwriter, Harry James Angus. It was released on September 16, 2011, and consists of eleven studio-recorded tracks, six of which also featured on his previous live album, Live at the Famous Spiegeltent.
The album is predominantly of a folk genre, and is described on Angus' official website as "constantly unfolding stories of buried bones, murderous stove cooks, sentimental corporate bankers and mystical cricket players."
Little Stories was recorded and mixed by Ross Cockle at Allan Eaton Studios on July 13 and 14 2011.

Summerland is the fourth album by Australian hip hop band The Herd and was released on 24 May 2008. The Herd announced its new album in March 2008, in early May of that year the first single from the album, "The King is Dead", received radio airplay, it makes reference to Australia's change in government with John Howard being replaced after 11 years as Prime Minister by Kevin Rudd.
The album debuted at #7 on the ARIA Album charts and reached #2 on the Top 40 Urban Album charts. It was also nominated for the 2008 ARIA Awards in the 'Best Urban Release' category.
The album was named 'Best Independent Urban/Hip Hop Album' at the Jägermeister AIR Awards held at Melbourne's Corner Hotel in November 2008.
The Mike Daly directed film clip for the second single from the album, "2020", was nominated and won the inaugural J Award for ‘Best Music Video’ in December 2008.
The Bottom of the Lake
The Bottom of the Lake is the third album by Melbourne band Tinpan Orange, released on Vitamin Records in 2009. The album was produced by Harry Angus of The Cat Empire, and Angus also plays several instruments on the album. "Lovely" was released as a single.

Ziggurats is the 2007 album from Australian three-piece band The Beautiful Girls. It was released in May, 2007 and features the single I Thought About You.
Computer Love is an Australian hip hop album by TZU, released on 28 June 2008. The album was released under the P & C Liberation Music record label and debuted at no. 23 on the Australian music charts.
The album has been nominated for a 2008 J Award as "Album of The Year".
The single released from their third album "Computer Love" was also entitled "Computer Love" and it received airplay on national youth radio station Triple J. The video clip for the song has also been nominated for the "Music Video" J Award for 2008.
Although the album was originally released with just 14 tracks, it now contains the 15th track "Reflecting Off That".

Yves Klein Blue Draw Attention to Themselves is an EP by Yves Klein Blue released on 1 April 2008 on Dew Process. An EP of the same name had been produced by the band themselves for sale at local shows, but was re-recorded and produced by Caleb James, a renowned Australian producer. This subsequent re-release saw the band get picked up by Dew Process. The band's first single, Polka, received regular airplay on alternative radio station Triple J, and was followed by the release of their second single, Silence is Distance. Videos were shot for both of these singles, as well as for The Streetlight, which was curiously left off the label re-release of the EP.
"Polka" also performed well in 2008 Triple J Hottest 100 voting, coming in at 76 in the overall list.

Nanna is the eighth studio album recorded by Xavier Rudd and the United Nations, a band featuring a diverse group of musicians from Australia, South Africa, Samoa, Germany, Ireland and Papua New Guinea. The album was recorded and self-produced in Australia and mixed by Errol Brown in Jamaica.
Chimney's Afire is the second album by Australian singer-songwriter Josh Pyke. It was produced primarily by Pyke and released in 2008 on the Ivy League Records label.
Chimney's Afire featured 2 songs on Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2008, with "Make You Happy" at number 29 and "Lighthouse Song" at number 27.

Based on a True Story is the first studio album by New Zealand group Fat Freddy's Drop. It was recorded in Wellington and released on the band's own label, The Drop. Based on a True Story utilized the band's trademark dub, reggae, soul and funk influenced sound, and has been successful both in terms of sales and of critical reception. The album followed years of regular touring within New Zealand, a live album, several singles, and appearances on numerous compilation albums in New Zealand and internationally.
Whilst the track listing named previously successful singles such as "Hope" and "This Room", these songs were in fact rerecorded in entirely new versions for the album. Based on a True Story has to date also spawned a highly successful single in its own right: Wandering Eye, which was awarded the prize for Best Music Video at the 2006 New Zealand Music Awards.
The album made an impact internationally as well. Listeners of Gilles Peterson's BBC Worldwide Program voted it as Album of the Year for 2005.

Museum is the second studio album by Australian indie pop band, Ball Park Music. It was released in Australia and New Zealand on 5 October 2012 via Stop Start/EMI Music Australia. Matt Redlich recorded, produced and mixed the album at Massive Studios, East Brisbane, Queensland, between January and August 2012. It was preceded by the lead single, "Surrender", which was issued in August.

Art vs. Science is the debut extended play from Australian electronic band Art vs. Science, self-released on 1 May 2009. The EP debuted on the Australian Singles Chart at 49 in May 2009 before peaking at number 32 in February 2010.
The EP's first single is "Parlez Vous Francais?", which was released with a music video which features two mimes pretend fighting with the band performing. The song was voted number 2 on Triple J Hottest 100, 2009 with "Friend in the Field" at 74.
The song "Hollywood" was featured in the soundtrack for NBA 2K11.

Midnight Remember is the second and final studio album by Australian rock band Little Red, released in Australia and New Zealand through Liberation Music on 10 September 2010. Midnight Remember debuted and peaked at number 5 on the Australian album charts and remained in the charts for 12 weeks where it has been certified Gold, mostly due to the success of the highly successful single Rock It, which has been accredited with Platinum status.
The album has produced three singles. The most successful, "Rock It", reached number 19 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was second place in the Triple J Hottest 100 for 2010.
