Masseduction is the fifth studio album by American musician St. Vincent. It was released on October 13, 2017, through Loma Vista Recordings. The album peaked at number 10 on the Billboard 200, becoming her first top ten album in the United States. The album also received universal acclaim and was the fourth-most mentioned in critics' year-end lists for 2017. At the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, Masseduction won the award for Best Recording Package and Best Rock Song for its title track, and was also nominated for the Best Alternative Music Album.
III is the third studio album by American singer and songwriter Banks. It was released on July 12, 2019, by Harvest Records. It was preceded by the release of three singles, "Gimme", "Look What You're Doing to Me", and "Contaminated". It peaked at number 21 on the Billboard 200. No Shame is the fourth studio album by English singer Lily Allen. It was released on 8 June 2018 by Parlophone. Following the release of Sheezus, Allen suffered from an identity crisis and did not connect with the music she had been creating. This was followed by a breakdown in Allen's marriage. Following Allen's divorce, she began working on new music which saw her writing about things that she had been affected by including the relationship with herself, her children, her ex-husband and substance abuse. Recording for the album began in Los Angeles in 2015, before Allen set up her own studio in London and continued recording through until 2018. The sessions featured contributions from producers such as Fryars and Mark Ronson, whilst the final track listing featured guest appearances from artists including Giggs, Burna Boy and Lady Chann.
An electropop album, No Shame takes influence from dancehall and reggae, and features confessional lyrics that discuss the breakdown of Allen's marriage and friendships, maternal guilt, substance abuse, along with social and political issues.

So Sad So Sexy is the fourth studio album by Swedish singer-songwriter Lykke Li, released on 8 June 2018 by RCA. The album was preceded by the release of the singles "Deep End", "Hard Rain", "Utopia", "Sex Money Feelings Die" and "Two Nights" featuring Aminé. Ilsey Juber co-wrote the majority of the album, which is musically influenced by trap. Malay served as an executive producer, with further production by Li's husband Jeff Bhasker, T-Minus, DJ Dahi, Illangelo, Emile Haynie, Jonny Coffer, Kid Harpoon and Rostam Batmanglij, among others.

The album features collaborations with Joseph Mount of Metronomy, Klas Åhlund, Adam Bainbridge, Mr. Tophat, and Zhala. It has been called a "significant departure from the hooky, sparkling electro-pop" of the Body Talk series of albums.

The majority of the album was recorded at Tiny Telephone Oakland and mastered in Harlem, New York, by Dave Kutch.

Blue Lips is the third studio album by Swedish singer Tove Lo. It was released on 17 November 2017 by Island Records. Blue Lips is considered the second half of a two-piece concept album that describe "highs, lows and ultimate demise of a relationship." Its chapters "Light Beams" and "Pitch Black" succeed the chapters "Fairy Dust" and "Fire Fade" from her previous album Lady Wood.
In addition to the return of songwriter-producers such as The Struts, Ali Payami and Joe Janiak, the album features new collaborations with Alex Hope and Lulou, among others. Daye Jack is the only featured artist on the album. Musically, the album has been described as "sharply conceived dance-pop" and it is noted to follow the "hypnotizing electro-pop vein" of the preceding album.
A short film by the same name was released on 19 October 2018 to accompany the album.
TURN OFF THE LIGHT, VOL. 1
Turn Off the Light, Vol. 1 is the third EP by German singer-songwriter Kim Petras. It was released on 1 October 2018 through her own label, BunHead. Its art and tracks are inspired by Halloween. Petras began promoting the EP in mid-September, posting heavily edited photos to Instagram of herself, according to Paper, "styled as a sexy dead Victoria's Secret angel/Hades side-chick/goth middle schooler's notebook-doodled fantasy. She later posted to Twitter that she "[couldn't] wait to share" a collaboration with Elvira.
Still Run is the second studio album by American band Wet. It was released on July 13, 2018 by Columbia Records. It was announced on May 11, 2018, with the release of the third single off the album, "Lately". The first single off the album, "There's a Reason" was released on March 9, 2018. The same day, a US tour with Inc. No World was announced. The album was supported by four singles, "There's a Reason", "Softens", "Lately", and "You're Not Wrong". It is the band's first album without founding member, Marty Sulkow, who left the band one year earlier due to "tensions mounted over artistic direction".

The EP received positive reviews from critics, who praised Herby's rebranding as an artist and the exploration of R&B and hip hop music. The EP also experienced fair success, peaking at number 37 on the Billboard Independent Albums Chart and number 13 on the US Heatseekers Albums Chart.

Ivory is the fourth studio album by L.A.-based, New Zealand alternative rock singer Gin Wigmore, named after her son. The album was released on 6 April 2018 by Island Records Australia peaking at number 11 in New Zealand. Ivory explores a heavier alternative rock sound along with a heavy blue-eyed soul vibe and doo-wop inspired ballads counting on a funky, groovy production. The lyrics of the album provide commentary on feminism, empowerment, and a return to roots.
