Brave is the sixth studio album by American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez. It was released on October 4, 2007, by Epic Records. Inspired by her marriage with Marc Anthony and taking influences by Jamiroquai and Sade, "Brave" features prominently samples from old classics, mixing up with funk and R&B music. Brave sees Lopez working with new collaborators, such as Ryan Tedder, Midi Mafia, Jonathan Rotem, Bloodshy, Lynn & Wade LLP, The Clutch and others, while also working with long-time collaborator Cory Rooney throughout the album.
The album received a mixed reception from critics, with some complimenting its production, calling the album one of her strongest albums to date, while many called it a formulaic and bland album. The album underperformed commercially, becoming her first album to miss the top-ten on the Billboard 200 chart, while also missing the top-twenty in the UK, Australia, and other markets. It has sold only 650,000 copies worldwide.
The album spawned two worldwide singles: "Do It Well" and "Hold It Don't Drop It".

Bittersweet World is the third studio album by American recording artist Ashlee Simpson. It was first released in Australia on April 19, 2008, with a release in the United States following on April 22. The project serves as her third and final release through Geffen Records. Simpson first spoke of a third album following her run as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago in 2006. Work on the project officially began in 2007, with Geffen announcing an October release date. The album was initially titled Color Outside the Lines, taken from a line in the song "Rule Breaker". Simpson claimed in November 2007 that she had finished the album, though she continued to write new material.
Simpson took more creative control over the project, co-writing all eleven songs on the standard edition of the album. Hoping to create a "fun party album", Simpson enlisted producers Timbaland and Chad Hugo and Kenna of The Neptunes among others to create a more "beat-oriented" sound that differed from her previous pop-rock releases. The album incorporates elements of pop and dance-pop music, and was influenced by the pop-music scene of the 1980s.

One Touch is the debut studio album by British girl group Sugababes. It was released by London Records in the UK on 27 November 2000, and the following month in most other European territories. The trio worked with producer Cameron McVey on the majority of the album, which produced four Top 40 hits, including the hit "Overload", and "Run for Cover".
Despite peaking at number 26 on the UK Albums Chart and being certified Gold by the BPI, and faring even better in German-speaking Europe, where it reached the top ten in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, the sales of One Touch did not meet the record company's expectations, and the group were eventually dropped in Autumn 2001, making it their only release with the label. In addition, it became the only album featuring the group's original line-up. Siobhán Donaghy left the group in 2001. She initially stated that she wanted to pursue a fashion career, but was eventually diagnosed with clinical depression amid reports of in-fighting between the Sugababes members.
In a March 2009 interview with Ponystep, former Sugababe Mutya Buena revealed that she thinks One Touch is the band's best work and that she still listens to it.
