All Hail West Texas (Remastered)
The Mountain Goats
All Hail West Texas is the sixth studio album by the Mountain Goats. After the slight increase in production values on The Coroner's Gambit album of 2000, All Hail West Texas is the last Mountain Goats album recorded entirely on John Darnielle's trademark Panasonic RX-FT500 boombox. It is also the last album by the Mountain Goats to only feature John Darnielle.
The cover states that the album consists of "fourteen songs about seven people, two houses, a motorcycle, and a locked treatment facility for adolescent boys." Many of the songs explicitly refer to places in Texas, and evoke a lifestyle ethos born of the vast expanses of desert and highway found in West Texas itself.
Several songs were written to appear on the record that was not included in its final version. Three were given away on the Tiny Mix Tapes website. Darnielle said there was a full set of fifteen outtakes that he intended to release for free one day, but he destroyed them after hearing about the leak of Hail and Farewell, Gothenburg. It is not known whether that set included the three listed above.

Live at Jittery Joe's
Live at Jittery Joe's is a live album released in 2001 by Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel to combat the high prices of bootlegs on eBay. Filmmaker Lance Bangs recorded it at the Athens, GA venue Jittery Joe's on March 7, 1997 during a live solo performance; this location was the original Jittery Joe's at 243 W. Washington St., not one of the current locations. Jeff had not prepared a setlist, so some of the songs were chosen by the audience. A noisy child can be heard throughout the performance.
Most of the songs included on this album had studio versions on earlier Neutral Milk Hotel releases, except for a cover of Phil Spector's "I Love How You Love Me." This album contains a different, earlier version of "Two-Headed Boy, Pt. Two" than appears on In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. The performance is also noteworthy for being the public debut of "Oh Comely." The CD version has a QuickTime video of the performance on the enhanced section.

Neutral Milk Hotel
Everything Is was the first recording mass-released by Neutral Milk Hotel, at that point still largely an outlet for the songwriting of Jeff Mangum instead of a fully formed band. The recording was originally the second release on the fledgling Seattle label Cher Doll Records in 1994, in the form of a 7", with "Everything Is" as the A side, and "Snow Song, Pt. 1" as the B side. The first 50 7"s pressed also featured different artwork, with each sleeve being personally xeroxed by Mangum. The Cher Doll edition is now out of print.
The British label Fire Records re-released the record in 1995, on CD and 7", with the 7" retaining the same A and B sides, and the CD version featuring an extra track, "Aunt Eggma Blowtorch", a five-minute sound collage by Mangum. Both CD and 7" featured different artwork. The Fire version is also out of print, though not as collectible as the Cher Doll version.
In 2001, the recently founded Orange Twin Records re-released the single, this time on CD only, adding the extra track "Tuesday Moon". The artwork remained the same as was previously seen on the Fire release. This version is currently in print.

The songs "Heat", "Meals on Wheels" and "The Sun" are all re-recorded songs from the band's debut album Belongs to the Dead, with "Okay Paddy" having its name changed to "Meals on Wheels".
The first pressing of the album was limited to 40 copies and features baseball player Randy Johnson on the cover.
