There's a Last Time for Everything
Lucy Wainwright Roche
There's a Last Time for Everything is the second full-length studio album by singer-songwriter Lucy Wainwright Roche. The album was recorded over ten days in Nashville in collaboration with producer Jordan Brooke Hamlin. Of the quick recording, Lucy said, "Jordan and I crafted these tracks over long summer days that stretched into late, late nights. We were gloriously swept up in the process, like kids working on a secret project. Because we were working with a limited time frame, we went with our gut on every decision. There wasn't time for us to second guess or retrace our steps. The urgency of working that way was exciting and freeing - and also a little bit terrifying.” The album was released on October 15, 2013.
Two noted featured musicians on the album include Colin Meloy of The Decemberists and Mary Chapin Carpenter. The album also features one cover, a stripped-down version of Robyn's "Call Your Girlfriend," reworked by Wainwright Roche and Hamlin to feature guitar and harmony vocals only.
Mortal City is Dar Williams' second album, released in January 1996 by Razor & Tie.
The songs "As Cool as I Am" and "The Christians and the Pagans" were released as singles in 1996; the former was also accompanied by a music video. Unlike Williams' previous album, The Honesty Room, which was entirely acoustic, Mortal City featured electric backup on a number of the album's songs, particularly "The Ocean" and "The Blessings".

Rob Me Blind
Rob Me Blind is the third studio album of independent singer songwriter Jay Brannan after his albums Goddamned in 2008 and In Living Cover in 2009. The 10-track album on his own independent Great Depression Records was released on 27 March 2012 and was produced by Grammy-winning producer David Kahne who had produced albums for artists like Tony Bennett, Paul McCartney, Regina Spektor and others. With Kahne, he experimented in this new album with new arrangements and even using some percussion instruments, although in his earlier material, he had tried to stay away from such usage, saying they were too loud. The result is still acoustic and melodic but with "some additional texture to it" as he put it in an interview with Instinct magazine
The track "Greatest Hits" was the pre-release and first official single release from the forthcoming album. Brannan released the track "Beautifully" as a second official single from the album to coincide with the release of the album, accompanied by an official video release directed by Grant Carden and Dillon Mangrann-Wells. Carden was also responsible for the cinematography.
