Chiaroscuro is the second studio album by Australian rock band Ocean Alley, released on 9 March 2018. The album debuted and peaked at number 15 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart following its release. The album was supported by a national tour.
In December 2018, the album was voted at No. 2 on the Triple J Top 10 Albums of 2018. In 2019, "Confidence", "Knees" and "Happy Sad" were voted into Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2018 at Nos. 1, 10 and 100, respectively.

Missing Link is an extended play (EP) by Australian musician Nick Murphy. It is the first musical collection to be released under his birth name. In a press release, Murphy said “Chet Faker was me trying to prove something to myself. But my tastes are pretty dynamic, and I realized I’ve spent time resisting that. Now I want to put everything in. It’s not conceptual anymore. It’s just me, and it made sense to show that in a name. It feels like a rediscovery.” Adding the Missing Link EP is “a bridge between what's out and what's coming”
Never Too Soon
Perennial is the second studio album by Australian folk musician Vera Blue. The album was announced on 15 June 2017, and released on 21 July 2017.
Upon announcement, Vera Blue said: "Perennial is a term for plants that come back year after year, and I like to relate that to memory, feelings and emotions. It's what the record is all about; relationships can be very cyclical, or never-ending, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's just part of life." The album was recorded between Sydney and Los Angeles and is arranged into three chapters which chronologically trace the development of the songwriter.
Vera Blue promoted the album with a national tour across Australia from July to September 2017.

Run Home Slow is the second studio album by Australian indie blues rock band The Teskey Brothers. The album was released on 2 August 2019 and peaked at number 2 on the ARIA Charts.
At the ARIA Music Awards of 2019, the album was nominated for seven awards, winning three; Engineer of the Year, Best Group and Best Blues and Roots Album.
At the Music Victoria Awards 2019, the album was nominated for three awards, winning Best Album.

Snow is the fourth studio album by Australian singer-songwriter duo Angus & Julia Stone. It was released on 15 September 2017 by EMI in Australia and Nettwerk in the United States. It was preceded by the release of the title track and "Chateau" as singles. "Chateau" was accompanied by a video directed by Jessie Hill. The album was written entirely by the duo and recorded at Angus Stone's Byron Bay cottage studio after it was suggested by Rick Rubin, who produced their 2014 self-titled album.
Two of the album's tracks were voted into the Triple J Hottest 100, 2017: "Chateau" at number three and "Snow" at number 98.
At the ARIA Music Awards of 2018, the album was nominated for two awards; Best Blues and Roots Album and Best Independent Release.
Laps Around The Sun
Laps Around the Sun is the third studio album by Australian singer songwriter Ziggy Alberts. The album was released in November 2018 and peaked at number 9 on the ARIA Charts, becoming Albert's first charting album.
The album was written over four years and tell the story of coming out of one relationship and into a much healthier one and mostly written about an imaginary character named Koda. Alberts told Triple J, "I wanted to write about the qualities I most wanted to practice but also the qualities I most wanted in a relationship with someone else. It's how I found hope, how I found answers for myself in times of deep questioning." Alberts told Billboard "This is the first time I looked at a whole catalog of songs and picked ones I felt told a story".
The album was supported by a 30-date, 3 month 2018 Australian tour. A 2019 tour was later announced.
Unfurl is the second studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Ry X. It was released on 15 February 2019 through Infectious Music.

Solace Remixed is the first remix album by Australian alternative dance group, Rüfüs Du Sol. The collection features a sonically diverse reworking of the tracks from Rüfüs Du Sol's third studio album, Solace. Solace Remixes was released on 6 September 2019.
When asked what inspired the album, the band said "We've always loved people being able to put their own spin on our music in a new context. It felt like at this point we were able to get in touch with some of the artists we admire and it seemed like an opportunity not to be missed. It allowed some more dance-orientated artists to create special moments for dance floors around the world."

Mac said she wanted to aim for a live sound: "A lot of the vocal performances are live and unedited. It is hard to leave mistakes on a record but I think it was important to do that."
Salt is the debut studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Angie McMahon. The album was released in July 2019. The album will be supported by an national tour in October 2019.
