The Pains Of Growing
The Pains of Growing is the second studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Alessia Cara. The album was released on November 30, 2018, by Def Jam Recordings. Its songs were mostly written by Cara, with co-writing from producers Pop & Oak. Musically, The Pains of Growing was inspired by three years of the singer's life that led up to its release. Critics described the album's sound as "big-sister pop", and praised Cara's songwriting ability.
It debuted at number 71 on the US Billboard 200 and at number 21 in Canada. The Pains of Growing was supported by three singles. "Growing Pains", released as the album's lead single on June 15, 2018, charted at number 65 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and at number 36 in Canada. "Trust My Lonely" and "Out of Love" were respectively released as its second and third singles. Cara promoted The Pains of Growing through a series of public appearances and televised live performances.
Inner Monologue Part 1
Inner Monologue Part 1 is the fourth extended play by American singer and songwriter Julia Michaels, released on January 24, 2019, through Republic Records. It follows her 2017 EP Nervous System. The EP features six songs, including collaborations with Selena Gomez and Niall Horan. Michaels went on a tour in the second quarter of 2019 in support of the EP.
Aurora is the second studio album by American singer Bea Miller. It was released on February 23, 2018, by Hollywood Records. It's Miller's first album to be released internationally. It was preceded by three EPs, labeled as "chapters" which teased the release of a full-length album. The EPs were named after the primary colors; blue, red and yellow, and each one includes three songs. All of them along with five new songs were included in the final track listing.

From The Outside
From the Outside is the second studio album by American pop rock band Hey Violet. It was released on June 16, 2017, by Hi or Hey Records and Capitol Records. It is their first album since their name change from Cherri Bomb to Hey Violet. It also serves as the group's first album without former lead singer Julia Pierce, and the first with new members Casey Moreta, and Iain Shipp. The album's sound has been described as "post-EDM pop rock". This is the group's final album to feature founding member Miranda Miller, who announced her departure from the band via social media on August 31, 2017.
Good Cry is the debut extended play by American singer Noah Cyrus. It was released on September 21, 2018, and was preceded by the single "Mad at You", a collaboration with Gallant.

Tell Me You Love Me is the sixth studio album by American singer Demi Lovato. It was released on September 29, 2017 by Island, Safehouse and Hollywood Records. Primarily a pop record, the album also explores elements of R&B. Lovato described the album as having a more "soulful" side than her previous work, and named Christina Aguilera, Aretha Franklin and Kehlani as its major influences. Contributions to the album's production came from several producers, including Mitch Allan, David Massey, Oak Felder, Stint, and John Hill.
Lyrically, Tell Me You Love Me explores themes of recovering from heartbreak, letting go of past demons, and being single. "Sorry Not Sorry" was released as the lead single from the album in July 2017 and would go on to become Lovato's most successful single in the United States, peaking at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and being certified triple platinum by RIAA. The title track was released as the second and final single from the album in November, peaking at number 53 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was later certified platinum by the RIAA.
BLUE LIPS (Lady Wood Phase II)
Blue Lips is the third studio album by Swedish singer Tove Lo. It was released on 17 November 2017 by Island Records. Blue Lips is considered the second half of a two-piece concept album that describe "highs, lows and ultimate demise of a relationship." Its chapters "Light Beams" and "Pitch Black" succeed the chapters "Fairy Dust" and "Fire Fade" from her previous album Lady Wood.
In addition to the return of songwriter-producers such as The Struts, Ali Payami and Joe Janiak, the album features new collaborations with Alex Hope and Lulou, among others. Daye Jack is the only featured artist on the album. Musically, the album has been described as "sharply conceived dance-pop" and it is noted to follow the "hypnotizing electro-pop vein" of the preceding album.
A short film by the same name was released on 19 October 2018 to accompany the album.
Just The Beginning
Just the Beginning is the debut studio album by then 13-year-old American singer-songwriter Grace VanderWaal, consisting of twelve original tracks. It is VanderWaal's first full-length project and follows her debut EP, Perfectly Imperfect.
The album was released on November 3, 2017, by Columbia Records and Syco Music, produced by Ido Zmishlany, Tim Sommers, Sean Douglas, Greg Wells and Gregg Wattenberg, among others. It debuted on the Billboard 200 albums chart at No. 22. In advance of the album's release, VanderWaal released several singles from the album and promoted it with various live and broadcast appearances, and she further promoted it with her sold-out Just the Beginning Tour, which ran from November 2017 to February 2018. VanderWaal has writing credits for every song on Just the Beginning.
Singular Act I
Singular: Act I is the third studio album by American singer Sabrina Carpenter. It was released on November 9, 2018, through Hollywood Records. The album is the follow-up to her 2016 studio album, Evolution. It is considered the first half of a two-piece project, later being supplemented by her fourth studio album Singular: Act II. Carpenter began writing the album in 2016, shortly after the launch of Evolution but she only began to record the songs in 2017. The album features eight songs, all of which she co-wrote. The compact disc was exclusively released for sale at Target stores. In support of both Singular: Act I and Act II, Carpenter embarked on the Singular Tour in March 2019.
The lead single, "Almost Love", was released on June 6, 2018. "Sue Me" was impacted mainstream radio in January 2019 as the album's second official single. It was also supported by two promotional singles: "Paris" and "Bad Time", the former of which was released on October 24, 2018, along with the album's pre-order. The singles "Why" and "Alien" were included on the Japanese edition of the album.
Cosmic is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Bazzi, released on April 12, 2018 through Bazzi's own record label, iamcosmic, and Atlantic.

Melodrama is the second studio album by New Zealand singer Lorde, released through Universal, Lava and Republic Records on 16 June 2017. A departure from the minimalist style of her debut album Pure Heroine, it is a pop and electropop record incorporating piano instrumentation and maximalist electronic beats. It was primarily written and produced by Lorde and Jack Antonoff, with production input by several high-profile producers including Frank Dukes, Flume, Malay, S1 and Joel Little.
The album, recorded after Lorde's breakup with long-time boyfriend James Lowe in 2015, has been described as a loose concept album that explores the theme of solitude. It follows the framework of a single house party, and the events and moods that ensue. During her writing sessions, Lorde flew between the United States and New Zealand several times, examining the world around her, and continued working through erroneous starts, unsuccessful detours and periods of inactivity as she retreated from the public spotlight.
Melodrama received widespread acclaim from critics, many of whom commended its songwriting, production and Lorde's vocal performance.

Shawn Mendes is the self-titled third studio album by Canadian singer Shawn Mendes. It was released through Island Records on May 25, 2018. It is primarily a pop album, with ingrained influences of pop rock, blues, and R&B.
For the album, Mendes worked with Ryan Tedder, Julia Michaels, John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid, and Khalid. Mendes was the executive producer of the album, also in the producing credits were Tedder, Louis Bell, Ian Kirkpatrick, among others. The album received generally positive reviews from music critics, with many of them praising its maturity and new musical direction.
The album debuted at number one in Canada, making it Mendes’ third number one album in his home country. It also debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200. It marked Mendes' third number one album in the United States, as well as making him the third youngest artist to top the chart at least 3 times. The album also topped the charts in Australia, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. It became his second album to debut in the top 3 in the UK.

Youngblood is the third studio album by Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer, released on 15 June 2018. The band announced the release of the album on Twitter on 9 April 2018. Along with the album's announcement, the band also revealed that they will embark on the Meet You There Tour to support the album.
The album was first announced for release on 22 June 2018, but its release date was later brought forward to 15 June 2018. The album’s standard version contains 13 songs, the deluxe version contains 16 songs, the US Target exclusive version contains 18 songs and the Japan exclusive version contains 19 songs. Featured artists included on the album are English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and American rapper Future.

It is the first of three six-song EPs, followed by She Is Here and She Is Everything, that tell "a different chapter to a trilogy" and together form Cyrus' full-length seventh studio album She Is Miley Cyrus. It is her first release since her sixth studio album Younger Now, and her first EP since The Time of Our Lives.

Trench is the fifth studio album by American musical duo Twenty One Pilots, released on October 5, 2018 through Fueled by Ramen. It is the band's first studio album in three years, after the breakthrough success of their previous album, Blurryface. Recorded in secret during a year-long public silence, it is a concept album which explores mental health, suicide and doubt, themes prominently featured in the band's previous works, framed in the metaphorical city of Dema and the surrounding valley known as "Trench". The album is also the first release of the newly revived Elektra Music Group.
The album was preceded by the release of four singles. The first two, "Jumpsuit" and "Nico and the Niners", were both released on July 11, 2018.
