The end is near....RIP APC..... What a disgraceful pricing model this is.....Talk about price gouging. As a subscriber of apc for some two decades, I would have loved to include this in my digital subscription collection, but why would I at $6 an issue when I can buy similar digital subscriptions of international titles for a tiny fraction of this. $3 is a realistic maximum. If APC is still around in two years I'll eat my hat. RIP APC.
Too expensive I don't understand how publishers can expect us to pay these kind of dollars. Apps get it right but books and magazines fail because traditional media companies don't get it. Just have to wait for them to die.
Not Worth It I used to buy this magazine many years ago as a physical copy, before the articles went more mainstream. Decided to give the trial a go, and I honestly didn't think it was possible to both cater to and insult your target audience at once. The magazine has a heavy bias with less than informative articles, while also continuing the negative stereotypes assigned to geeks. I don't know how this magazine is still in production, I certainly won't go near it ever again.
Marketing driven magazine I no longer read this mag after a long year subscription. Far to bias towards certain products, due to a minority of readers complaining...regular readers will understand what I'm talking about. Not interested in reading any further.
APC Too expensive considering the content gets poorer and more irrelevant every month. If it was anything like the APC of years gone by, I would be happy with the price, but it is too expensive for about 5 minutes reading.
Good articles I usually only find a couple of articles in a whole magazine that I'm bothered about reading but this mag I found I read quite a lot. it's worth the $6. Google magazines are surprisingly easy to read even on a phone thanks to text mode. If there were more of the article's pics in text mode and hyperlinks were tappable (if that's possible) It would be 5 stars
