If I could give zero stars I would. After 2 months I have yet to be able to view an issue on my android tablet. When I follow the instructions that lead me to "click" the access link to the Computer Magazine website (as a subscriber) it leads to a BLANK verify page. What a complete load of garbage. If print is dead then why can't a publishing company fix their digital product for all subscribers? Everyone that works on CMM digital should be fired.
oh crap ! It said available for PC. It didn't say that you have to install some specific bit of software (in this case Chrome) until after I'd paid for it. I won't have Chrome on my PC, I already have IE and Firefox, and a pdf reader. Unable to access the magazine I can't access the downloads. They should make this clear from the start before you make payment.
Cumbersome to read on my Windows 7 laptop and cannot download for offline reading. So I open it up on my Android tablet and it's a little easier to navigate and read, but still no offline reading or download. Windows version is unreadable. It zooms in, but wont scroll. Maybe it's better on an iPad or Win 10 or something. I much prefer the print version at this point. If you cant download it then it's essentially a website isnt it? Except it it difficult to navigate and hard to read.
Awful on Google play. near impossible to find the link to the video linked from youtube (Pig&Dan). No link to the vault. No issue number displayed so had to work it out. very bad user experience I would recommend just buying the print version if you have that option.
I am experiencing the same issue with not being able to "verify" my 3 month subscription through Google News interface. I get a blank page and can't see what i paid for. This is lame. It works fine on iOS devices.
Magazine is great, Google Newssatand is horrendous Rating is based on the mag, but Newsstand is aweful. Mag doesn't download, barely loads and now is deleted from my library and can only be read from the playsotre app. I will be looking forwards to my print copy. I can view and download on my iPhone just fine, but it is small. I was hoping to enjoy this on my 18" tablet. Oh well.
