Horrible I could not view any of the magazines on my regular laptop and you can't save pages of favorite recipes or recipes I want to try so Cooking LIght was worthless in google play. There was absolutely no reason to subscribe to an electronic version of cooking light. I at least thought there would be a way to search the magazine!
Weekly User of the app I use this app in conjunction with the magazine to add healthy, lower calorie meals and dishes to my weekly menus. My daughter and I love it in our quest to lose weight. Via Digimark and myfitnesspal, I can save my favorite recipes to the myrecipes site and fitness account. It IS interactive with recipe cards and nutritional information. I can only think that users who are having problems may be using android devices with lower spec. The app works on my Nexus 7, Nexus 9, and our gson's Kindle. GREAT APP!
Works like a charm .....Once you enter your credit card info even though you have the paper subscription. If you enter cc info and are a subscriber, it charges $0.00 to your acct. Don't understand why they need or desire the cc acct info.
Terrible Can read the magazine on my tablet. Not much else. Trying to save recipes to a file is frustrating. Does not work most of the time. Tried to save a recipe and was asked to sign in again...and again...and again....never got the recipe saved. Gave up.
Cooking light Cannot get copy on my smart phone, very frustrating, advertise free ti print subscribers. Bull. Tried numerous times on different days. Nice setup...
Just a few problems. My wife and I liked the recipes that were in May '13's issue and June '13 looks to be even better! The interactivity of the magazine is also a plus, however, that interactivity isn't always functional. In the June '13 issue there are numerous buttons to tap for expanded info and instructions. When I tap on a button nothing happens except for GMags showing the "jump to pages". Please work on this problem in future issues.
