Excellent mag, weak app, cheaper elsewhere Superb magazine, but for some baffling reason this version is more expensive and has less functionality than the Zinio version. On Zinio, a 13 issue subscription is about a fiver cheaper, the mag itself is identical and the contents pages have hyperlinks. The only advantage of this version is the marginally smoother navigation, not enough to offset the shortfalls. So... why waste money? I'm glad this had a free trial - I'm cancelling & subscribing via Zinio instead. Until things change, it's the only option that makes sense.
Intelligent writing, insightful and thought provoking. One of the rare magazines that keeps me reading cover-to-cover. After three months I dropped my subscription to the official Xbox Magazine because they simply can't compete with the maturity level of this publication. That said the cost detracts.
Best Gaming Magazine This is really the only gaming magazine I care to read. I enjoy this magazine because of its level of maturity, artful and skillful approach to covering gaming news, reviews, and honest no cheap shot critiques. I also enjoy the graphics and artwork I don't seem to find anywhere else. Just a fantastic and hearty quality read each month. Must read for gamers that are looking for more in their gaming magazine.
Great Mag and Text Version! :) I'm new to Android and decided to trial Edge with my new Nexus 4. I wasn't optimistic as I expected the full PDF style magazine that I got when I subscribed on my iPad. You do get that, ut you also get a text view, where ALL the articles are reduced to a nice, easy to view text article, more or less exactly like in Google Currents. I think this is fantastic, and not to be underestimated, it mean I can easily read all the magazines content on my phone anywhere, which to me is as good, if not better than reading off a tablet, believe it or not. The Nexus 4 screen is big enough and crisp enough to make reading off it a joy. I think I'll happily subscribe, £3 a month is great quality for the myriad of great, well written content you get. Very happy :)
Not Bad but Not With It Not a bad subscription but the cost is too much for me. Some issues are better then others and some issues are way more one sided then others. Some decent game coverage and stories.
