Ported from iOS without changes App still uses iOS "How to use our app" screen describing features not available on Android. This includes the library button that would normally allow me to download back issues as a subscriber. Using the Read button for back issues in the Play store just takes you to the most recent issue. This is a bad port, and is missing features, and I will regrettably continue to read on iOS since that's where all the development attention goes.
How Do I Read This on My iPad? Most of my devices are Android but I sort of inherited an iPad 4 that I've been trying to use more. It seems like it would be ideal for reading magazines and it is for those through ZInio, but I can't seem to find any way to access this subscription on my iPad. It's pretty frustrating. As for this on my Android Tablets, I like it a lot. I very much prefer it to the print version. I wonder though if I'd read it more often if it showed up in my mailbox every week.
Needs adjustments I agree with other viewers. Every time you go to enter CURRENT SUBSCRIBER it asks for your credit card info. And says you will not be billed.Entered all info then it told me I will be billed next month. I have the latest android phones and tablets and still no luck. This also happened with People magazine. I entered it and cancelled immediately because it said my next payment will be due next month. I thought it was free to subscribers. They need to look into that.thanks!
Can't enter subscription info Update: It looks like they've fixed the problem! I was able to enter my subscription info and now can view the digital content. Like many others, I'm a print subscriber who can't enter my information. At first the keypad wouldn't even appear, now it does but nothing happens when I try to enter my account number or address. And there's no option to do this online? Lame.
Game of thrones got me to buy However, very disappointed in the quality of pictures in the magazine. They are very blurry/pixilated looking, and you can't zoom or anything. A real shame on such a beautiful screen to see a magazine look so poor. Text is fine, just full screen images. You'd think it would be optimized for 1 of Google's own current devices. People rating poorly are not rating properly. Their inability to figure out getting free digital version from print subscription is not the fault of the magazine, in almost all cases.
Back 20% of mag won't work The last 20% of the mag from What to Watch onward stopped working about 6 issues ago. You try and tap the days to see each one and get an error that says zooming isn't available. Everything after that then just spins and spins without loading. Shame too. I really used to like the digital edition. Now i have to finish the mag in the print edition each month. Asus T700 transformer tab. I'm only giving it two stars instead of one because it used to work well. Hopefully they fix it.
