Could use some improvements I love the way this looks on my nexus 4, however two major issues 1). how do I download back issues? 2). The interface is not as slick compared to my iPad / iPhone, meaning for example, it shouldn't take a second to load each page as each page is already saved on my device, it seems to stutter for a second, the major issue is you can't tap the screen to open up text mode you need to zoom in first then opens the box for text mode. On my iDevices it seems easier as well to go into the new rack to grab the latest issue or back isues, in this we have to go to the store find what we want and then download, this is more of a google play issue I think. However please fix the bigger issue of the interface please. (Edit: I guess even after it downloads it takes a bit before it catches up as now the interface is snappier, and the bottom scroll lets you navigate pages quickly, which is something the iVersion doesn't really have, bumped up 1 more star.)
Account number already in use After repeated unanswered requests for help, I mysteriously received two magazines one month, but one was addressed to another family member and had a different account number. It's strange because this other family member has no interest in GQ and most certainly did not subscribe to GQ, so I don't know how Conde Naste even knows they exist, but I believe it was sent so that I could get the digital version to work. After refusing to let me subscribe using my standard email address, since I apparently used it for some other Conde Naste publication many years ago (no idea which one), I was finally able to get it to work using a different email address (something that wouldn't work with my old account number that's been on every GQ I've received before this one.) Needless to say, I'm happy that it's working, but Conde Naste is using some sort of archaic system that sorely needs to be revised and soon. This is too much work simply to receive the digital version, although I'm thrilled that it's even offered. In summary, it's great, if you can get it to work.
Shame on you GQ "Have you accepted Tim Tebow as your Sunday Savior?" Woww way to go! Typical of you people to pervert the precious meaning of the true Sunday Savior. Always robbing the glory of our Savior of the world, Jesus Christ. I love you JESUS, thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.
Asus Nexus 7 Very hesitant to buy at first, but tried the Jan '13 issue, and I found no problems whatsoever with it. I'm not a print subscriber, so I can't comment on the login screen some people have been having troubles with, but just buying a single issue on this tablet has been completely problem free. Love the interaction and page layouts, very comfortable. Very happy!
So WRONG!! You shouldn't run your mouth about Tebow if you don't know what your talking about... It was Manning that had him let go. He said it was him or Tebow and looser Elway chose a used up quarterback over a fresh one that could hang in for longer than the 3 years or less that Manning will be here. Soo it was greed that won and the fact that Manning wants all the attention. GQ...good reading....Ohh GO TEBOW..GO JETS
Works great on my Nexus 7 People are complaining that they are not able to verify there print subscription, if you follow the steps and click subscribe and then at the bottom it will say setup account then click on the button to input your GQ account number and zip and you will be verified
