Could use some improvements I love the way this looks on my nexus 4, however two major issues 1). how do I download back issues? 2). The interface is not as slick compared to my iPad / iPhone, meaning for example, it shouldn't take a second to load each page as each page is already saved on my device, it seems to stutter for a second, the major issue is you can't tap the screen to open up text mode you need to zoom in first then opens the box for text mode. On my iDevices it seems easier as well to go into the new rack to grab the latest issue or back isues, in this we have to go to the store find what we want and then download, this is more of a google play issue I think. However please fix the bigger issue of the interface please. (Edit: I guess even after it downloads it takes a bit before it catches up as now the interface is snappier, and the bottom scroll lets you navigate pages quickly, which is something the iVersion doesn't really have, bumped up 1 more star.)

Original review: Canadian print subscriber hoping to get the digital version I'm assured I'm entitled to. When trying to "subscribe" I don't have the option to select "I'm an existing subscriber". GQ told me to download the GQ app first - obviously they're clueless because that's not how things work on an Android device. They then referred me to Google support who asked me to clear my cache - that didn't help. Since then (5 days) I've had no reply from Google even after sending a follow up message with screenshots. The one question I keep asking is whether there is a difference between the Canadian Google Play Store and the US Google Play Store. They either don't answer the question or say they don't know. If they don't know (as employees of these companies) then how are we as consumers supposed to buy their products?
If you would only verify Bought print subscription with electronic delivery option plus Details magazine. Now trying to get digital GQ, had setup account at GQ as instructed following their instructions but I am denied saying I don't have a subscription at the Play Store. In this day and age there should be little to no wait time for access with automation. Obviously something doesn't work between Google Play and GQ's servers. Please fix so we can enjoy what has been paid for and promised.

Support for Canada??? I paid for a 2 year print subscription and should be able to receive the tablet/e-version complimentary. Currently, the android or Googleplay version is not available to Canada. Further, the iPad version does not work either - tried adding the account and now all I get is an error saying "account number already in use." My emails to Condenast/GQ Support go unanswered. To add insult to injury, GQ or Condenast send emails reminding me that the e-version is now available and link instructions on how to access; which would be great except they are for US customers and I am a Canadian customer.
