You don't have to pay twice fools.... But.... When I was forced to switch to Digital GI 2 years ago I knew it would be a shaky switch, but it's actually been worse than I thought. First they release an app that is useless on all but 4 devices (not including the Holy iPad) and then you delay an update for the Nexus 7 for so long that you actually gave up and directed users to use Google Magazines. Then you cancel my digital sub when my PURPro cars is active, and once that is cleared up Google can't verify that I have a subscription... I'm dejected...
Good exclusive articles you can't always find online I've been reading GI for almost a decade now. While maybe it's time to branch out into different types of articles (film maybe?) I still enjoy what they cover now. Great exclusives so there's a reason to pay for the magazine and usally well written. I also don't understand why so many people are giving negative reviews to this magazine on Google Play when they're issue is accessing it through Google not the actual magazine. It brings the magazine down and makes it look bad they should just complain to Google instead. I bought my subscription through Gamestop and the next day was easily able to access my account through here no problem.
Fix this please There needs to be an ability to link subscriptions, especially for magazines like Game Informer where you get a Cloud Sub as well. @Tre - there is no convenience in this, the cloud subscription is part of what we get through Power Up Rewards.... In fact, it's the ONLY reason Game Informer is the most popular Gaming Magazine - it comes in a packaged deal... no one will pay just for this magazine, especially if they get it plus 5 more benefits by going through Gamestop. Google Play is awesome, but right now ONLY Google Play Music lets you use your own existing content - I can't upload my own E-Books, or link Magazine Subscriptions? It's ludicrous
Poor or no internet connection?! So I guess a fully open 100mbps pipe isn't enough for this to load? Its been nothing but problems since I went with the digital subscription. I'm not even going to go into detail on how many hoops I had to jump through just to get digital issues "delivered". It usually takes a lot for me to leave bad feedback, but I can only take so much. If I could give a half of a star, I would. I pay money for your subscription and expect to be able to read it when it's available.
would be great if they cared *update* Now that you can finally download the October issue, I go in to find that there is only half an issue in there. It cuts off in the middle of the magazine! I am done wasting my time on this piece of garbage and demanding my money back. This has left such a bad taste in my mouth, I am never going to even look at a Game Informer magazine again.
WTF!!!! I just switched to digital and now I can't even receive them because I do not have a tablet but have to pay twice to get it on Google play?? That is bull. Not re-subscribing until fixed so I can view on my computer or android phone. Unless I can go back to paper at least that way they can't mess up as bad as they are now.. FALLING BEHIND GAMEINFORMER!! Losing subscribers by the seconds.... I'd give no stars if possible... very not good.
