Doesn't work. Tell @GooglePlay @Money Regardless of how I try to verify my subscription I cannot get this to work. I've tried using my account number as well as my address, but continue to get the "Error retrieving information from server. [BM-PP-11]" notification. I was able to get the digital edition of Money by using my Kindle Fire and the Amazon App Store, but Google Play seems to have some bugs in it unfortunately. Too bad, plenty of negative reviews here to draw attention to it but it seems nobody at Google cares about this issue.
Can't zoom, no article view, portrait only, no two page view Bab, Bab, Bab... poor implementation. The "interactive" experience is just jumping to different pages. Its like the mobile browser version of web...sucks... skimpy graphics, hard to read text, and horrible layout. I much rather have the paper like e-magazine style like the others on Google store. In this version you can't zoom and the text is either too small or big and blurry, no article view that is much easier on the eyes, forced to portrait view only, no two page view so the long two page graphics are chopped of. Horrible...they should have just stayed with the regular e-magazine format.
DOESN'T AUTHENTICATE ~SCRIPTION ABSOLUTE GARBAGE Cannot get the app to verify my account while trying to access through google play app store. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING! Then, when I went to the google play site on my browser, there was no option to sign up for current print subscribers! Worst app experience ever.
Interactive is not my cup of tea I really enjoy the print version of the magazine and expected the same on the digital version. I've come to expect this from the other 4-5 Google play magazine subscriptions I currently have. What I found is that the format is really odd. It's supposed to be interactive but I find it very confusing and in many cases missing images or content that is in the print version. It's totally not the same experience and most certainly not for the best.
Bad Format The way the articles are laid out is a bit confusing at first which is annoying. Often times it won't scroll or swipe to add to your frustration. It's like they tried too hard and fell short. K.I.S.S.
Financial Pornography There is really only one worthwhile article per issue. The rest of the magazine are basically advertisements in article form. While yes this magazine is about money, on average only one article per issue actually provides any sort of sound advice on dealing with money, and investing, every other article pushes money schemes that are ultimately unwise and borderline foolish ways to deal with money.
