As others have said. Text is unreadable unless you zoom in. Very annoying and time consuming to have to pinch to zoom every single page and then have to maneuver the page up and down as you read. I'm using a 7" tablet so it may be better or worse for others. Funny, text on all ad pages are crystal clear. I was expecting more from my first digital magazine subscription I hope all magazines don't have this issue. I may unsubscribe because of the quality. $1.99 an issue is still a steal IMO as the magazine costs about $10 locally. People complaining about the $8.99 price tag doesn't make sense to me subscribe for $1.99 and cancel anytime. I'm guessing you don't "own" the magazine with a subscription? Not sure if someone could clear that up for me that would be great. If I cancel subscription can I still view issues I had while subscribed?
Hahaha Yeah right , the games are expensive enough . I get a free magazine through a different company . Might not be as good or xbox directed but free. When your publication informs as well as stimulates sales it pays for itself. This is almost as bad as first edition 360s crashing or not playing new games for no reason other than a change in the way you code the games . Hope you turn things around with durango or whatever the new system will be called.
stuck in the past I will say that this is my favorite Xbox magazine but there is no way they can justify $8.99 for a digital version. I can see that price back in the day when they actually included a disc with demos and videos on it, but this is crazy. Game Informer at least gives you an interactive version instead of this which is basically a glorified PDF. Sad to say but with these prices, they will be joining Nintendo Power soon.
Outrageously Overpriced Digital editions should always be cheaper then print! Even though content and ads are the same, there is NO physical edition! No ink, No paper. This is why magazines following the old business model are failing. Adapt or fail and get shut down or go bankrupt! This particular magazine is hemorrhaging money and people at the magazine are jumping ship to other business models, sad because at one time it was the best 360 gaming magazine out there for the USA. Maybe it is time they read the book, " Who Moved My Cheese?"
Blurry Text is, much to my dismay, blurry. This is remedied simply by zooming in. But who wants to do that? It's a real nuisance. This digital version needs some work. Until the problems are fixed, my rating will sit at 2 stars. For any of you wondering, I am using the Nexus 7. Perhaps it is not fully compatible?
Ridiculous price for back issues. On print, previous issues are not worth the price of the tree chopped for them, but here they're 9x their current offer price, almost 5x the monthly sub price! I'm sorry, but stupid, last century minded publishers need to realize how wrong they are. The mag would be a 4 star (5 is reserved for edge and just a few more), downgraded to 2 hoping to see a change in policy.
