No more print Pcworld is a great publication. But most recently they decided to do away with print. Disgusting decision. Upset and disappointed after i had signed a three year deal with them. It led me no choice but to cancel n get my refund. Sucks. Shame on u, Pcworld.
Subscribe, don't get single issue If you want only a single issue, just subscribe then cancel. It only costs $2. You can view the text only if you have a small screen. It reformat to fit your screen. Plus you don't see ads. It's a win win. If you canceled your subscription, you still get to keep all your previous issues.
What to costly! What is the problem? I see people on the review pages saying that they are too costly. You have to be kidding me. These prices are nothing compared to what it used to be! I know many are trying to save money, but it still costs money to put this magazine out in this forum. I want the magazine to grow and that takes money. These prices are not bad at all.
Bang for buck One of the few digital magazines that actually have a reasonable pricing per content ratio. It covers all the relevant areas of technology and the newly redesigned format provides even more content. Thoroughly pleased.
Ambiguous pricing I purchased a print subscription and then they stopped printing them and I got no prorated refund. Now since there is no equivalent magazine I am interested in giving them a second chance but the pricing here is ambiguous- is it $1.99 for the app or just one issue? I am afraid to hit the "subscribe" button because it is not indicating what that price is and I am further concerned they will automatically charge my credit card forever. So poor delivery and execution here. I'll try Maximum PC still in print.
Gbye PC World. I have been a print subscriber for... well I think since they started printing... and I'm disappointed. All digital is a risky move and I don't think a good one. I'm all for saving trees but come on...there are more efficient ways to do so. How about we stop wiping our butts with pearly white new paper and require tp to be 100 % recycled??? Hmmm. Save the paper for important reasons...like magazines. I use them for resources and have kept them all this time. Will have to find another magazine that prints.
