Latest Issue I, too, am very disappointed in Google Play right now. I contacted the support team and this is the first response I received: "...We have to go through specific processes in order to create a working magazine on Google Play. Unfortunately we are experiencing a short delay in releasing this issue and are actively working to make it available. We are currently working on ensuring that this does not happen in the future." Short delay? The magazine comes out on the stands on Thursday and this is the FOLLOWING Wednesday. By the time we receive the magazine it won't be any point in reading it. Which, by the way, I pointed out in my response to them. This is the second response: "I apologize for delay of this issue. I can understand that it would be disappointing to receive a magazine later than it should have released. Right now it is not determined how long the delay will be..." So, I guess we will see. I guess this may determine whether I cancel or not, too. One week I'll give a pass...next time I won't. And right when the soaps are getting really good, too!! LOL. Sherrie
Where Is It? Bad enough I can buy it in the stores on a Thursday, but you don't make it available to Google Play subscribers until Monday. Now it's Thursday and nothing! This is unbelievable! Where is our issue??? I hope you won't be deducting a full payment from me in a couple weeks from now. This is unacceptable! Will we be getting it soon or do I need to try and track down this weeks issue somewhere else?
Over Priced, less content I do have a hard copy subscription and will keep it since I get it for $50 a year, however, the eCopy price needs to drop to around $30 per year before I even think about going that route. This is a common problem with eCopy magazine subscriptions, they are overpriced. Think about it, only need to make one final copy and every copy after that is a perfect copy, no printings costs, easy and immediate distribution. There is no need for these prices to be so high. $4 x 52 weeks? Try $.75 cents per issue.
OMG I got the yearly subscription in January at $29.99 now looking at what I need to resubscribe and my jaw dropped. $60 for paperless content. There is no mailing, no printing, ink or paper costs, there is no way an electronic version of a paper magazine should be that high. This is just robbery, and will most likely not resubscribe after subscribing for years.
No help w/ subscription issue Paying every month to get this weekly magazine & not being able to access it the past 2 weeks sucks! What sucks even more is after to emails Digest & Google Play I got no help & no response! Thanks for the crap customer service!
I have had a subscription since last January but about 5 or 6 weeks ago something happened where I am not able to read the current issue at the appropriate time. It won't let me read it until 2 weeks later. Today I expected to read the 2016 Preview issue and it shows only "cancel" or "buy". I shouldn't have to buy since it shows I have a current subscription. The latest issue I can pull up is dated Dec 7. By the time I'm able to read the current issue each week, the info is old and has already been played out on screen. So at this point I would not recommend this to anyone.
