Gone down-hill like all the stupid cycling cut aways. Have been reading stuff religiously for years, and I have just now unsubscribed as this months issue was the final straw. Packed with whole page adverts and content that is completely pointless, even the newer information is poorly selected. I don't know whether stuff have a new techno-incompitent team, who seem to be as good at knowing what people want as much as rainman knows how to interact with them. The top tens and ratings are a bunch of crap these days, its just all a huge dissapointment.
So so Good price, but magazine often arrives a week or more later than the printed version and the text is really hit and miss with some of it so blurry it is a struggle to even read it. As usual, the iPad version is streets ahead of the android one. Unless things improve will be cancelling my subscription. Update 6th January 2015 - finally lost my patience with late arrival of magazine and fuzzy text. Subscription cancelled.
Please Explain to me Stuff Staff I haven't yet paid for a subscription on the Android version yet, I do love the hardcopy version though. I have been put off by some of the reviews concerning scaling text. But I am confused by the price. It says I can buy a copy for £2.99. Or Subscribe for £10 a month! Or pay £19.99 for a years subscription! Am I missing something?
Knock knock, who's there Not the July issue that's for sure. Late to arrive in digital format - has the office junior forgotten to badly scan the latest issue?
Is everyone on here bloody stupid or something. You must have some sort of technological understanding, your reading stuff magazine. Firstly the magazine IS of a high resolution. If you double tap or pinch zoom, it will zoom in so you can read it more clearly. You must be using low resolution phones/tablets in which case you shouldn't be using it for reading magazines. Secondly if you tap and press 'view text' it will magically transform the magazine in to a easier textier format with pictures and such for easier reading, which will even save what page you're on for next time you use the app. Learn to use the magazine app properly. Have merry xmas. Mike!
A little blurry, and issues are late This is a great magazine, with a wide range of good advice and reviews, but unfortunately most, if not all, the text in the digital version of this magazine appears to be blurred when you zoom in. This is definitely only an issue with this particular magazine, as it isn't a problem with my other subscriptions. one can still read the text, but it isn't the best possible experience. Another thing is that I have just received the June issue, having already read it and it disappearing from my library!
