When too much is not enough. From recipes to poetry to fiction to investigative reporting, the Saturday Evening Post has a bit of everything. For some readers, the variety will appeal. The content curation is solid, and the articles timely and usually worthwhile in their respective genres. However, I came away from my two trial issues feeling it was unfocused and insufficient in all its many aspects; inevitably mixing too much I didn't care about with not enough of what I did. For what it is, the SEP is excellent. It just isn't for me.
Nice blend of stories with current issues! Great blend of short stories with current issue pieces as well as bits on art and history. Only complaint is it should be longer and provide more great informative pieces. Maybe even a monthly issuance!
Great magazine, great articles but... I subscribed back in February and Google magazine play won't let me read back issues. Is that normal?
Contemporary topics, great writing I recognized the title from years ago, but the similarities stop there. Still cartoons and broad appeal, but the articles aren't just fluff. Lots to read and use.
Just Fine Feel like this magazine has something for everyone to enjoy. Not just for your grandma and grandpa anymore.
