Over Rated and Over Priced They say they rate 1000s of wines below $20, this is true. These are relegated to the last few pages of the mag or in a Value list in an article. They don't tell you that all of the wineries highlighted with major articles, are all high end wineries. You will NEVER see a piece on a winery whose wines are (all) under $20. Why? Because these people don't have the money to spend on advertising. With Marvin IT'S ALL ABOUT THE $. He charges for everything - apps, overpriced tastings. Subscribers can't even read online for free. PURE GREED. DISGUSTING.
I agree wholeheartedly that one should not have to pay twice for the same content. If I wish to read articles in the magazine or online, that should be my prerogative, since I have already paid for an expensive subscription. Paying again would be submitting to pure greed. In light of this stance by Wine Spectator, I will reconsider my subscription status altogether.
love the magazine and already subscribe. This is the magazine area of the Play Store, not the Application section. Anyway, why can I not input account information? It's an expensive subscription; paying for it twice is a bit much, yes? Definitely.
Please allow free access for current subscribers All other magazines allow existing subscribers free access! I would really love the access to read on planes and when my wife is asleep!
Misleading or poorly described This is not wine rating app but app to read??? Must also buy subscription. Where is the wine rating app for droid?
Now I'm thirsty This is a great magazine. Very informative, interesting topics and overall a good read. It is a little pricey that's why I gave it 4 stars.
