Publisher greed once more Publisher Greed I'm all for paying someone for their product and work, but at 7.99 for a digital media that has virtual Zero reproduction costs? No materials, no print press, no packaging, no shipping, no shelf space? oh and No CD! and almost the same price as print? Until these publishers stop the money grab and start charging a fair price for digital media productions, I wont be buying.
Another too costly digi-mag In Australia I can get the paper version - with DVD - for around $aust 20-25. I consider that very pricy. But $aust 16 for digital version is way too high.
Price gouging ... Just paid $15.99 for a printed copy at a news agent and I'm not that impressed with the content. Too much advertising and poor content which required another proof-read before going to print. Is this what we have come to expect as consumers of Linux mags? I hope not.
Price Reduction Required This is a nice magazine with some great content, but I think £7.99 is an excessive price. I wouldn't even spend that much on a print copy. I think the publisher needs to re-evaluate this.
Consider... There may be no DVD, but you can download all the software included - its free after all.
Would like to have bought the latest issue, but... ....at £8, that's far too rich for anyone's pocket
