Review from A Google User
Not Impressed Just like their website..fake. True craft beer fans, they're better one's out there. Sadly not digital.
Must Have for all beer lovers This magazine is full of everything beer. It covers all aspects of beer from brewing to beer culture. If you are a beer lover, and I expect you are, then this is a must have magazine. For $10 a year it is a steal! Give it a shot and learn something new about beer in every issue.
Good content, difficult to read on computer I enjoy the magazine content but find it frustrating to read one the computer. The text is small and when zooming in using the reader, the resolution is too poor to read without significant strain/trying to decipher the text. However, on mobile devices, it is crisp and easy to read, though navigation can get wonky. I would like to see a better reader for use on the computer as the native one in Chrome (the only supported browser) is subpar. Fix the computer reading issue and I would give it 5 stars.
Good if you're a snob; terrible if you like beer This magazine is pretty much about nothing but pubs and cities. It's useful if you like beer "fashion" or "culture." But if you're serious about tasting beers and enjoying the taste and complexities of the drink itself, look elsewhere. I don't care what's going on in the San Fran beer "scene." I just want to know what beers are good, and why. I want to know stats, and what they're brewed with and what they actually taste like. I don't need to know how to LOOK like someone who likes beer, because I ACTUALLY like beer. This magazine is less about the pure love of beer and more about how to be a total hipster. Very disappointing.
Elegant and Easy to Read Publication I really like this magazine. Located in Australia it gives me an insight into the brewing culture of the USA. It is well put together with informative, well written and well curated articles.
Pretty much a mirror of the site. Run by "bros" who ban you from their forums for having a difference of opinion on anything. Like others said too, I don't care about the hipster snob culture that give us craft drinkers a bad name, unless you're bashing bud, coors, miller or pbr than its fine. I don't want to hear so much about beers I'll probably never get to try and what's going on in the "scene" just straight honest reviews of beers out there
Best Beer Magazine Very interesting and informative. I always enjoy when this magazine shows up at my door. The website is fantastic and the magazine is also a nice addition.
