In the third season premiere, when a father and his two young children go missing, the squad has to work quickly to find them, while uncovering a slew of terrible family secrets along the way. Meanwhile, Raydor does her best to trust Rusty as he begins to take suspicious trips out on his own. Recurring guest star KATHE MAZUR appears as Deputy District Attorney (DDA) Andrea Hobbs, the no-nonsense prosecutor.

Shortly after being released from prison, a man who proclaimed his innocence is found murdered. The victim's case is reopened and the squad works hard to solve a 17-year-old murder. To the surprise of Raydor, Rusty confesses the reason behind his recent suspicious activity. Recurring guest stars include KATHE MAZUR as DDA Hobbs, RANSFORD DOHERTY (The Closer) as Coroner's Investigator Kendall and EVER CARRADINE (24, Once and Again) as Rusty's mother, Sharon Beck.

The Major Crimes division faces a new challenge as they work to solve the murder of a dog that was left a 20 million dollar estate by its deceased owner. With the help of wannabe detective, Jonathan Baird aka Dick Tracy (guest star ANDREW DALY -- The Closer, Silicon Valley, MADtv), the case takes a new turn as the squad begins to suspect foul play in the death of the dog's owner, a wealthy heiress.

The violent murder of an alleged rapist gives the squad the emotional task of questioning possible suspects. Meanwhile, when Rusty catches his mother (recurring guest star EVER CARRADINE) in a lie, he begins to question her motives. Recurring guest star Ransford Doherty appears as Kendall.

When a foreigner is found murdered inside his hotel room, the squad must work quickly to find the killer while avoiding any international repercussions with the case when a U.S. diplomat becomes involved. While everyone is busy on the case, Rusty tries to figure out how to share a big secret with the squad.

After a young runaway is murdered and thrown in a trash can, the Major Crimes unit is led on a long, puzzling hunt to find the deceased girl's killer — and the girl's identity. Meanwhile, Raydor consults her estranged husband, Jack (guest star TOM BERENGER -- Hatfields & McCoys, Inception, Platoon), about a big proposition she has for Rusty.

When SWAT officers working Crime Suppression discover an elderly couple gunned down in their own home, Major Crimes must team up with the LAPD's Special Operations Bureau to hunt down a killer who is stalking the city of Los Angeles and taking hostages along the way. Recurring guest stars include JON TENNEY (The Closer), MALCOM-JAMAL WARNER (Malcolm & Eddie) and BILL BROCHTRUP (NYPD Blue). Lt. Mike Tao of Major Crimes finds himself doing double duty when the star of the cop show on which Tao serves as a consultant becomes the prime suspect in the murder of the star’s biggest fan.

The mysterious murder of a tech entrepreneur with questionable morals and possible mob connections has the Major Crimes division working overtime. Meanwhile, Rusty struggles to feel accepted when Raydor’s son comes home to visit and Fritz Howard (recurring guest star JON TENNEY) prepares to assume command of the LAPD’s Special Operations Bureau. ADAM BUSCH (Men at Work), RYAN KENNEDY (Longmire), DYLAN BRUNO (Numb3rs) and NOAH CRAWFORD (How to Rock) also guest star.

The LAPD finds itself in a precarious situation during an investigation into the disappearances of a string of young girls from a popular nightclub, leading to a turf battle between the Major Crimes division and the Special Operations Bureau. Fritz Howard (recurring guest star JON TENNEY) remains on the mend from poor health, while Rusty’s mom (recurring guest star EVER CARRADINE) continues to struggle with the law and her sobriety. Recurring guest star LAURIE HOLDEN appears as Commander Ann McGinness. Guest stars COLIN FERGUSON (Eureka), ELLEN WROE (Masters of Sex) and BRANDON BARASH (General Hospital) also appear.

A surrogate adoption gets complicated, leaving one person dead and a lot of people searching for answers. The Major Crimes division gets their hands dirty as they explore LA’s underground water system. Sharon works to make Rusty officially part of her family, while he struggles to tell his biological mother (recurring guest star EVER CARRADINE) about the upcoming adoption. Recurring guest stars also include KATHE MAZUR as DDA Andrea Hobbs, RANSFORD DOHERTY as CI Kendall and STEVE TOM as Judge Richwood. It’s all fun and games at a raucous teen party until two people are brutally attacked with a pair of scissors and the Major Crimes unit has their hands full picking the culprit out of the crowd. Provenza meets someone (recurring guest star DAWNN LEWIS – A Different World) who will change his life. Guest stars include SPENCER DANIELS (Mom), JOEY POLLARI (The Inbetweeners) and TIFFANY BOONE (The Following), with recurring guest stars KATHE MAZUR and RANSFORD DOHERTY as DDA Hobbs and CI Kendall, respectively.

A Hollywood comeback is interrupted when a former child star is found dead on skid row, leaving the director of the actor’s current movie and his manager as prime suspects. Flynn’s daughter (guest star TORREY DeVITTO – Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries) comes to visit and the true nature of Sharon and Flynn’s relationship comes to light. Guest stars include CARLOS BERNARD (24), JUSTINA MACHADO (Six Feet Under) and JASON DOLLEY (Good Luck Charlie), with recurring guest star RANSFORD DOHERTY as CI Kendall.

There is a miscarriage of justice when a gang banger is acquitted of murder and released from custody. Sharon’s ex-husband, Jack Raydor (recurring guest star TOM BERENGER), represents the suspect in a subsequent murder. Rusty takes a chance when the guy (guest star MITCH RYAN) he has a crush on visits the station. Guest stars also include JON TENNEY, KATHE MAZUR, STEVE TOM, JUDE CICCOLELLA and GLENN PLUMMER.

Santa finds himself on the naughty list after robbing a bank, but a Santa flash mob complicates his apprehension and the Major Crimes unit scrambles to figure out how things went so wrong. Sharon’s kids (guest star ZARAH MAHLER and recurring guest star RYAN KENNEDY) come to town for the holidays while Buzz starts training as a backup police officer. Recurring guest star DAWNN LEWIS appears as Patrice. LILLI BIRDSELL, ANNIE ABRAMS and CARTER HASTINGS also guest star.

Tensions are high when Flynn has to talk down a man precariously holding on to the ledge of a bridge, only to find out that the jumper is a sex offender with a dead body in his car. Old wounds are opened as Rusty prepares an Impact Statement to hopefully end his involvement with the Stroh case. Sanchez is put under the microscope when his mother’s (guest star ANA MERCEDES – Arrow) caregiver is found murdered. Rusty is forced to take on Jack (recurring guest star TOM BERENGER) when he shows up at Sharon’s condo acting recklessly. Phillip Stroh (recurring guest star BILLY BURKE) returns and is demanding a new deal from DDA Rios (recurring guest star NADINE VELAZQUEZ) in exchange for his cooperation regarding “future murders.” In a race against the clock to prevent the deaths of three women, Major Crimes works to save the victims while decoding the source of Stroh’s information. Recurring guest stars include JON TENNEY, MALCOLM-JAMAL WARNER, BROCK HARRIS, HAMPTON FLUKER, RANSFORD DOHERTY and TUC WATKINS.
